NDSU best title IX defense would be to open its books and show every women's sports is basically funded at the top of its conference and has facilities on par with the men's teams.

Yes, but that doesn't resolve opportunities: 129 v. 282.

And how exactly does that defend not providing equal opportunities?  Congrats on that I guess but you still haven't explained the reason for the disparity in the number of opportunities provided.

And not sure what facilities the softball team's are on par with but I have been told that those are towards the top of the priority list for some upgrades so not a big deal if true.

NDSU football wasn't fully funded because players left the team for various reasons. There are men's sports that are getting short changed scholarships but they aren't football or basketball or wrestling(which has its own endowment).

When players !eave or get kicked off, normally their scholarships get distributed among those getting partials or walk ons. To not have a football team fully funded says there is a problem somewhere. Title IX is the place to look. By not funding football totally, that "shows" women's sports are not exclusively shortchanged when the books are opened. Why NDSU does not have an equestrian team like SDSU, which uses the gals to clean out the barns, is beyond comprehension.

They share facilities for the most part, how could they not have "as-good" of facilities?  Stupid argument.

One would think if that was an issue it would have come in the last Title IX lawsuit or the NCAA DI certification process or at some point in the last 30-40 years. NDSU must not be that worried about if, it they were they could clearly add a women's tennis program with relative ease.

The softball team wanted the bubble, it was their #1 request. I think the game day facility will be addressed once the SHAC is done.

You are wrong. Which make the remainder of your post moot.

Not necessarily, especially if they think it would be more beneficial to use in recruiting. NDSU has had a few classes suffer heavy attrition.

Equestrian is going to be discontinued by the NCAA, the school did look at it initially from what I can remember but it is no longer even an option.

Scholarships are redistributed the next semester if you have a class program, even if a kid only gets a partial for one semester.

But were talking class programs here, so never mind.

Again you have no clue what you are talking about. When a kid leaves school for reasons other than graduation his scholarship is not immediately available.

Equestrian may lose its NCAA status, but Baylor, Kansas St, Auburn, Georgia, and other land grants will count it still towards Title IX. Equestrian normally has up to 75 gals competing. That is a lot of Title IX slots. SDSU will be in big trouble if they drop equestrian. Miami has a synchronized skating team competing against club teams, but its recognized as varsity sport with scholarships and by Title IX, but not the NCAA.

The NCAA may recognize an NDSU women's rowing team that uses the north Fargo sewage lagoons though. That always an option, other than hockey.

Bison brain density showing again.

When a 5th yr player graduates in the fall semester, or anyone leaves in the fall, scholarships in the spring become available. They can be used for spring JC or FBS transfers or a one time scholarship for a walk on or partial. So your saying NDSU doesn't reward walkons or partials that have done well?

I guess reading comprehension isn't your strong suite.

And no I have not said anything of that nature. Nice try.

But lets get back to your OP.

You are a brain dead delusional bison troll arguing about semantics. Prime example of a former bison player having one too many concussions trying to prove how tough he was affects the rest of his senile life. So sad.

When a player leaves, is kicked off, or graduates in the fall, his scholarship is normally reallocated immediately or before before spring for someone else. Got it????

Those were your words not mine. You kept trying to move the goal posts and are still trying. Quit digging before the hole gets any bigger. Sad when all you can conjure up is sad personal attacks. when you get caught.

In regards to your most recent post do you have the NCAA determination on how those scholarships are handled?

One can argue that I am a fool for arguing with an idiot. No doubt.
