And how exactly does that defend not providing equal opportunities? Congrats on that I guess but you still haven't explained the reason for the disparity in the number of opportunities provided. And not sure what facilities the softball team's are on par with but I have been told that those are towards the top of the priority list for some upgrades so not a big deal if true. Quote

To not have a football team fully funded says there is a problem somewhere. Title IX is the place to look. One would think if that was an issue it would have come in the last Title IX lawsuit or the NCAA DI certification process or at some point in the last 30-40 years. NDSU must not be that worried about if, it they were they could clearly add a women's tennis program with relative ease. The softball team wanted the bubble, it was their #1 request. I think the game day facility will be addressed once the SHAC is done. Quote

Not necessarily, especially if they think it would be more beneficial to use in recruiting. NDSU has had a few classes suffer heavy attrition. Equestrian is going to be discontinued by the NCAA, the school did look at it initially from what I can remember but it is no longer even an option. Quote

Equestrian normally has up to 75 gals competing. That is a lot of Title IX slots. SDSU will be in big trouble if they drop equestrian. Miami has a synchronized skating team competing against club teams, but its recognized as varsity sport with scholarships and by Title IX, but not the NCAA. The NCAA may recognize an NDSU women's rowing team that uses the north Fargo sewage lagoons though. That always an option, other than hockey. Quote
