SiouxFanatic Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Motzko gets his team up for big games. Yeah, just like last weekend for the big games against Denver....... Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Zach Hyman with an awesome goal to tie up Wisconsin at 4. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Kile makes it 5-4 Michigan. Wolverines clearly the best team in the B10 right now. The South Bend regional is waiting for you, Red. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Wheels falling off for Wisconsin. No surprise there. Down 6-4 now to Michigan. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Well that escalated quickly... 6-4 Michigan courtesy of Selman. Quote

MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Haha, did you get someone's tickets. No offers yet. I'd seriously go to the game if given a ticket though. Quote
cberkas Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 I like the suggestion on GPL that the team that gets swept in the NSCC doesn't come back next year. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 I like the suggestion on GPL that the team that gets swept in the NSCC doesn't come back next year. I like that as well - but it'll never happen. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Going back to the injured Maverick on the ice...what is the rule for blowing the whistle in a case like that? It seemed like play continued forever in that sequence. I know Minnesota kept possession of the puck but at some point, doesn't player safety come into play? Quote

cberkas Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 The announcer said that as long as the injured player isn't in harms way, play will continue. The puck was being passed around him. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 The puck was being passed around him. I thought enough action was going on around him to maybe cause an official to blow a whistle. Will have to rewind the DVR and watch that sequence of events again. Quote

MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 What was his injury? Nelson was the Mankato player injured - took a rocket slap shot from Boyd right off the leg. He appeared to point at his right kneecap when the trainer came on the ice. Quote
MafiaMan Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 Doug McLeod and company found it hilarious...rest assured, had that been Kyle Rau writhing around in pain on the ice, they would have all been screaming for play to stop. Quote
iluvdebbies Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Would like to see the video of that. Normally a shot to the leg wouldn't draw a whistle in college hockey. Quote

cberkas Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Would like to see the video of that. Normally a shot to the leg wouldn't draw a whistle in college hockey. He was on the ice for a good amount of time trying to get up on his knees. Quote
