Oxbow6
Heard he was talking about how embarrassing this was, and Kotelnicki (sp?) said some stuff. Anyone follow Mussman so they can post it? Ironically, if Mussman and staff had done anything over the past 5+ years, we wouldn't be in a position to have an "embarrassing" article written by Schloss (who is a top notch reporter/writer and doesn't SUCK at his job) #brickbybrick So Muss and some of his staff got their Christmas wishes early...they grew a pair. Too little too late. And BTW I'm not a Twitter guy but Muss's tweets are really protected? Wow...

UNDColorado
To be honest this is not a bad thing. The University has no control over this and none of the stories have pointed toward the U provoking any of this. This is free exposure and if anything this could be used as a strong argument to get rid of the open records BS that the U has to go through to hire a coach. Open records is a good thing but I believe there are exceptions to almost every rule and this is a prime example.

Loss to NAIA Sioux Falls Easy to see why he would be a little on edge...

PhillySioux
I couldnt agree more with Mussman. And this will have Zero impact on any effort to make high profile hires by our Universities less transparent. Zero.

bincitysioux
Based upon the poll results, I have feeling that Pflugrad will not be the next Head Coach at North Dakota. When have we ever been right?

The Sicatoka
Compare and contrast: Montana program issues under Pflugrad versus NDSU program issues under Bohl. Pflu had the JJ/rape thing (acquitted) and the boosters/bail (that was family). Bohl had Best Buy and petition-gate and his speeding tickets and Beck's issues. Clearly Bohl was not poison to Wyoming. Is Pflu's problem set worse? I don't know. I'm asking.

Maybe two FCS championships, success against FBS schools and a potential third national championship on the way turns those lemons into lemonade for the Pokes. Is Pflu's problem set worse? I don't know. I'm asking. I think the fact that we are even having to ask will probably be a big enough reason for him not to get the job. I am not really sure why he is the popular candidate with everyone here, especially considering the baggage he comes with. I would think that after the recent Hardee incident, he will be looking for a clean start. I am still hopeful that the person that is being hired has yet to apply. UND-FB-FAN
I am not really sure why he is the popular candidate with everyone here, especially considering the baggage he comes with. How many of the applicants have been a head coach and won their conference (not to mention the same conference we're in), plus have FBS recruiting coordinator experience? That narrows it down real quick. Pflugrad is the best applicant. Pflugrad doesn't have baggage. He will not be a distraction and he is not likely to cause problems in the future. Therefore, he has no baggage. Just because he was sanctioned by the NCAA and scapegoated doesn't mean he has baggage.
