MafiaMan Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Bummer. I'm so sick of TC media and their talk of the streak. Please please someone beat the Gopher women's team. I personally know someone whose daughter is one of the top players in Minnesota. Their arrogance in recruiting is unbelievable. Quote

I personally know someone whose daughter is one of the top players in Minnesota. Their arrogance in recruiting is unbelievable. Their time is coming. And when it does, I hope it is our program that replaces them at the top of the heap in NCAA women's hockey. That should put a stop to those smiling mugs on the front of the Star Tribune sports section; the sooner the better. Quote
burd Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Wisconsin completely dominated women's hockey for many years up until Minnesota's recent run, but they never seemed quite so evil. Maybe it was Mark Johnson's class. Quote
burd Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 und up 3-0!!! go get em girls! How are you getting the game, gf? Quote
talksalot83 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 UND's live chat: http://www.undsports...TCLID=209311947 There's online feed for a fee at www.gophersports.com Free audio at gophersports.com (think you have to sign up) I've been following the live chat. Quote

I personally know parents of several top Minnesota players past, present and future. Your comment is complete load of fertilizer. Quote

In a four year stretch beginning in about 2006, Wisconsin won three NC and was second in the fourth. Quote

Snake Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 A tad bit of scoreboard reffing happening here at Ridder. 3-2 another PPG for MN on a lengthy scrum in front of the UND net. Quote

burd Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 There was a WCHA prior to 2006 however. Of course there was, but my point was that when Wisconsin was the dominant team in the country for 4 years, they did not seem to be labeled with the kind of arrogance that was pointed out earlier in this thread. gfhockey Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 fire idalski? hes giving up 3 goal lead byplaying not to lose we need to play to win Quote
sioux rube Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 3 goal lead is the worse lead in hockey. Teams let off the gas pedal. Seems to be happening again. They need the next one badly. Quote

Yeah...that "arrogance" is also a total load and nothing more than a fabrication out of sour grapes. Quote
Pony1976 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Very entertaining game to watch...two good skating teams up and down. Gophers fortunate not to be down further with a number of bad turnovers. 3rd should be a real barnburner with the outcome up for grabs. Quote
farce poobah Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Whatever you need to believe. When the homer gopher announcer is talking about the gophers getting away with penalties ... but hey you can believe whatever you need to believe. Quote
Snake Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 They certainly let a lot of stuff go in the last 5 min of the 2nd. Should be a very entertaining 3rd. Quote
Pony1976 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 When the homer gopher announcer is talking about the gophers getting away with penalties ... but hey you can believe whatever you need to believe. Selective hearing. I'm listening and watching. I would guess he's calling as he sees it. Including also mentioning blatant non-calls on UND as well. Didn't hear that I guess. Quote
gfhockey Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 im nervouse and out of beer and whiskey and cope! Quote
sioux rube Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 Gophers pull their goalie. 1:14 to go. Quote
