Motley Crue is calling it a career after their next world tour finishes. I haven't been this depressed since Scott Weiland was fired by the rest of Stone Temple Pilots.

Cheer up KISS will be around for another 20 years! ;)

Also a good chance Warrant or Poison is coming soon to a NA casino near you!

Not sure if Warrant is still around as their lead singer (Janie Lane?) died a few years ago...they were actually supposed to be playing in GF shortly after Lane's body was found...apparent drug overdose iirc...

Atlanta: 2 inches of snow paralyzes traffic

Minneapolis/St paul: 2 inches of snow paralyzes traffic

I guess we aren't that different after all!

I didn't see people in MSP just get out of their cars and abandon them though...

Jani was kicked out of Warrant for good in 2008 due to his alcohol problems.

Bobbie Brown's looking a little rough these days too.

Uncle Toms Cabin kicks ass!

Totally agree! I know their most popular song was Cherry Pie, although I never did understand the video and what that all meant. Anyways, I always hated Cherry Pie and Heaven but Uncle Tom's Cabin...damn, that's an '80's big hair band top ten song right there.

Saw an interview with Lane talking about this album...he hated Cherry Pie single as well...the album was going to be called Uncle Toms Cabin until the record company decided they needed another single...he looked a little crushed just talking about it...at least we got to see Bobbi Brown in the video...

It's my thread...why not?

I'm sure the record company thought they "needed another single" and that's the reason that "Cherry Pie got the album name and cover.

OK, so on the drive home I wondered what I would do between periods of hockey on B10 Network tonight, then it hit me...since I can't get Uncle Tom's Cabin out of my head (thanks, Blackheart), I thought it was time for a trip down memory lane...ladies and gentlemen...I give you...the top 11 hair band songs of 1982-1992 as decided upon by me (and there will be a few surprises):

Coming in at number 11...an a$$-kickin' classic that says it all about 1980's hair rock...screechin' guitars...drums...girls in the crowd...yea...Autograph's Turn up the Radio!
