Wilbur Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 You can tell the gopher defensemen are just totally different with Mike Guentzel coaching them. Blocking shots, sticks in lanes, gritty around the net. Where is John Hill when you need him? Penalty on UND. Get out of the period fellas. Quote
bcblues Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Yeah, their D is solid again. You can tell the gopher defensemen are just totally different with Mike Guentzel coaching them. bcblues Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Saunders is a great goalie. He just needs to eliminate about half of his rebounds. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 You mean a full hour love fest of gopher fans patting themselves on the back starts now? Actually it was people on both sides having a "rivalry love fest". Quote
scpa0305 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 All things considered, we aren't playing that bad....however these turnovers are going to cost us. Quote
Wilbur Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 2-1 is about the right score for this game. Clark got really lucky on that neutral ice shot that beat him five hole and slipped by the net. UND's only goal was a lucky bounce goal. Got to find a way to get one the hard way fellas. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 We gotta get Dman that can clear space in front of our net. Nick had no clue where puck was then didn't put a body on anyone. Quote

Oxbow6 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Struggling thru neutral zone...again! Kristo nonfactor so far. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I want to see Rocco up on top line. In game of this overall skill Mitch in a little deep on that line IMO Quote

Lot of skill going both ways, difference so far has probably been Wilcox. Both PKs are doing their job so far. Quote

Its a classic Siou.....UND-Minnesota one goal game going to the third period. Quote

Ray77 Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 Huge period coming up. Obviously for tonights game, but also to set the tone for tomorrow. Quote
Emerald joker Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 The Sioux need to play better than they are now. They have to stop trying to make that pass from the boards unless they know they can make it, and I want to see Rocco on that first line Quote
Wilbur Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 I think if its still a one goal game going into the last ten minutes you'll see some line switching. Quote
