WiSioux Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 From Brad's Blog UND 4, Mankato 2 -- Danny Kristo (Corban Knight, Dan Senkbeil) 15:46. Beautiful setup by UND's top line. Knight pulls up in the slot on a rush, attracts the defenders and dips a pass to Kristo, who was cutting to the net. Kristo snipes a short side shot from a tough angle high over Cook's glove. Quote
WiSioux Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 And with Senkbeil's assist, every player on the team has a point this season. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Did he really snipe the shot? Looked more like he lobbed it over (off of?) Cook's shoulder. Quote
WiSioux Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Did he really snipe the shot? Looked more like he lobbed it over (off of?) Cook's shoulder. I thought it went off of Cook's glove/shoulder as well... I just copied what Brad's description was Quote
WiSioux Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Nelson and Kristo can't control the puck enough to put it in the empty net... 10 sec left Quote
johnsowe Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Back luck by Nelson he should have had a goal. God I do not want to play Wisconson for the first round. Quote
burd Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Lack of finishers tonight on both sides. Lots of wide open nets. Quote
J.B. Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Back luck by Nelson he should have had a goal. God I do not want to play Wisconson for the first round. You play for the Sioux? You shoudn't post on here!!! Quote
DAR Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Nice win tonight....Nice accomplishment for the Sioux to finish in 4th with this depleted roster. Lammy and a converted dman on the 3rd line and the rest of the 3rd and 4th line walk ons. I appreciate what Lammy brings to the program but 1 goal in 30 games...c'mon man Quote
Sodbuster Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Back luck by Nelson he should have had a goal. God I do not want to play Wisconson for the first round. Like I said last week, Nelson has had a number of breakaways the last few weeks........time to bury some!! Quote
johnsowe Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 You play for the Sioux? You shoudn't post on here!!! Umm no just saying no puck luck thats all. Quote
hrkac Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Lack of finishers tonight on both sides. Lots of wide open nets. the botched back-to-back 3 on 1's by both sides was hilarious! Quote
GoalieMask Posted March 3, 2012 Author Posted March 3, 2012 A good, solid, workmanlike effort by the Sioux. Let's keep the energy up, remain disciplined and go for sweep tonight. Brad was right... Lots of empty seats at the game in lower bowl. Weather was rough in GF from about 4:30 to 6:30. Kudos to the hearty Sioux fans who braved the elements to come out to see their team! Quote

Yeah, let's hope Seth Jones wasn't here to fight through that nasty weather last night. Quote
burd Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Really like this bunch of guys. The first pass turnovers still create suspense, but things are starting to work. Gaarder doesn't score much, but it's fun to watch him work in the O zone. Several more wins might put them in a position to scare some folks this year. Quote
SiouxperSiouxFan Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 Anybody know if the game tonight will be on DirecTV or Dishnetwork? Quote
