Tommiejo Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 All I want to say is that this upcomming series is going to be a real "BARN BUNER." Right now i'm in the Keys recovering from this stroke that I had serveral months ago. I can get online to listen to the game & to be honest with you iI look for a SIOUX sweep. The worst thing that can happen is that they (the SIOUX) get a split. Now for my scores, Firday UND 4 UMD 2 Saturday UND 5 UMD 3 Good Luck & "GO SIOUX" A SIOUX FAN SINCE 1973. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 I'm predicting a split, with Duluth winning on friday night. Quote
Goon Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 I am predicting that UND will pound Issac on Friday and come back and win a close on on Saturday. UND has some pay back coming to the dirty Blow Dogs... Friday UND 5-1 UMD Saturday UND 3-1 UMD Quote
Erick Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 If anyone wants to read about Peluso in the Duluth News Tribune here is the link. Even after the Prpich beating he still thinks he's a tough guy. Quote
sprig Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Uncle Mike, Cousin Mike (Peluso); a bit of a name shortage in the Peluso clan. Must be like darrell and his other brother darrell Quote
WPoS Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 I'd like to see a split, beersong can you hook me up for that? Friday UMD 3 UND 2 Saturday UND 5 UMD 2 WPoS Quote
Fedorov Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Does anyone know who the ref is going to be? Do they announce that anywhere ahead of time? Quote
UMDDogz Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 Three hours to go... Time to put on the jersey!!!!! Maybe the next time the Dogs play the Sioux I will go down to Senser's and see what the big deal is. Gotta stay home tonight though... Finals suck! Quote

Even after the Prpich beating he still thinks he's a tough guy. 5'10" and 160 lbs, and he thinks he's an enforcer? Has he been re-reading a Napolen biography? I'll give 3-2 on Prpich. Quote
Smoggy Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I'm guessing a clumsy start for the Sioux. They've been off for far too long. Once they start scoring it'll be hard for UMD to stop them. Depth will be a huge factor in this series and we have it. Quote

I don't want to agree with your first sentence, but I think you've hit the nail on the proverbial head. Might start out 0-1, 0-2 until the Sioux wake up & find their rhythm... Quote
UMDDogz Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 My guess is that the Dogs will start with some fire. If they're not up for this game, it's going to be a looooong rest of the season! Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I'd be surprised if the Sioux jump out to an early lead--1 exhibition game in 3 weeks is pretty crappy scheduling. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 "Seasons beatings" with the Prpich/Pelusa pic poster has already been on the jumbotron. And the dataflix rebuffering has begun. Glad I get this on the Sioux sports network. Was wondering why you'd shell out a season's worth of dataflix if you can watch almost half the games on tv. Quote
sprig Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 Was wondering why you'd shell out a season's worth of dataflix if you can watch almost half the games on tv. Had directtv, and, after I'd paid for dataflix, local cable company announced the addition of several new channels, including FSSN, so, I switched to cable. Still get to suffer through dataflix for the road games, which will be common from January on, unfortunately. Quote
OETKB Posted December 13, 2003 Posted December 13, 2003 I, of course, have no choice other than dataflix. Tonight, there was some "choppy" signal, but no real buffering for me. That's an improvement over a couple other games recently, where there was some actual interruption. Overall, the dataflix thing is a great product for those with no other option. Sioux looked sloppy tonight. Played just well enough to beat a tough, scrappy Dogs team, though. Go Sioux! Quote
