IF summit league sponsored hockey and SAY a school like the NDAC then says they want to start d1 hockey what can a conference say?  yes, but you have to do x,y, z or yes not matter what?  or no, we arent' adding anymore schools bc we have 4 core and 4 affiliates?

how does that go?

if denver leaves for the wcc kick their asses out of the summit/nchc and then call up  st thomas and say "dont even trying it bitches"

wheres fenton?

The Big Mountain Podcast is saying that 3 new schools within the United Athletic Conference footprint will be joining the conference soon.   He said all 3 schools are D1.  Does that mean we could lose Oral Roberts and Kansas City in the Summit?  We lose 2 teams that would be devastating.  St Thomas has one foot out the door and Denver is looking to get into a west coast conference.

May I respectfully refer you to Assumption 8 here: https://csnbbs.com/thread-1009419.html

JRsec's "Realignment / Consolidation My Methodology & Discerning Bull From Potential Reality" is spot on.

Say this UAC really does have legs and it's three of (DU / ORU / UMKC / UNO / UST ) ...

That just might force the Dakota 4 to align and approach a low or wounded G5 conference (one that's needing or bleeding members) as the new "Northern Plains" division option.

I dont think Denver or st thomas are at risk now. But in the future. The schools in the range are oral roberts, kansas city and omaha.  Kansas city already tried to leave for the Missouri Valley.  Still dont see what Fenton has done for the summit league.
