The WAC name had cachet in its day. If the Summit took on the WAC name with the Texas schools and started football, the WAC would have swagger again.

go for 16 fenton....maybe if bsc adds the two Utah jucos the top of the league will finally be willing to "move up"

add 4 bsc

Montana MSU, Weber, and Idaho

Add acu, TSU, and drake

10 football with 12 if drake and St Thomas wanna move from pioneer to WAC football

Looks like there could be more movement happening.   Article states the Texas schools are looking at the Atlantic Sun now.   No mention of the Summit League at all.  Please dont tell me our only options for expansion are going to be Auggie, Mankato and Bismarck State.

But it would be the division 1 version of the NCC which would still be just as FUN as the division 2 NCC!!!

true...ncc should've looked to move up in the 70's with the football split  1a 1aa

For what purpose? Sac St.'s waiver is likely to be denied as the oversight committee recommended against the waiver. Would be a surprise if the D1 council overrides that. Neither approach seems to be working. Either you are in a desirable location for a specific conference or you aren't...
