geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 18 21 has committed to Bemidji State. What about Lakeville? Their top line looks very talented Quote

geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 The 3 brothers are all committed to St. Cloud State. That'll work out pretty well for the clown college, they look legit. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 He just split two dmen with the afterburners. They needed an emergency hook to prevent a clean break Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Correction that was #9 with the wheels. 21 was trailing the play Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Yon just walked three guys from the red line and fired a quick shot that the goalie barely saved. He looked behind him so he obviously had no clue if he got it or not. Nice quick release on Yon. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Yons dangles remind me of Malkin. He changes speeds a lot and can really break defenders down. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Lakeville had only 1 hit after the first.... Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 He's tenacious with the puck and isn't afraid to hit and defend. Gotta love that about Roseau, they play Sioux hockey. Quote
andtheHomeoftheSIOUX!! Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Who is number 9 for Roseau? Looks pretty solid. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Goal Roseau. Yon with an assist from a shot. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Yon fought for the puck off the faceoff and just put it low and on net and it kicked out to his teammate Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Goal Lakeville.... Over pursuit by Roseau and a wide open future clown puts it in Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Yon has good speed. I enjoy watching him play. Always buzzing on I and d Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Yon got planted in the neutral zone got up won a loose puck and fired a shot labeled for the upper corner. Glove save but a nice snapshot at the kids effort and attitude. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Whenever Yon loses the puck he fights like hell to get it back. He's an outstanding competitor. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Lakeville wins And here I was busy scouring the non-collegiate sports thread for high school hockey game updates...I guess I was in the wrong place. Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 6, 2014 Posted March 6, 2014 Who is number 9 for Roseau? Looks pretty solid. Alex Strand, very good player and right up there with Yon in terms of points, real good speed and can finish too. A little surprised he hasn't got more attention then he has, I know Bemidji is interested in him. Yon was really good again today and he had 14 of Roseau's 30 shots but he and the rest of his team just couldn't finish enough. Roseau's top line played a lot of minutes and I could kind of tell those guys kind of had to get rests on the ice at times and conserve their energy some just because they play so much. The Freshmen for Lakeville came up big with the game winner coming freshman Henry Enebank and the freshman goalie Jake Oettinger turning away a number of great chances from Roseau. Quote
