duluthSioux Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Let's not goon it up to make it worse. its already happening Quote
brianvf Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Not sure if that was a dive. He's been diving all weekend. He's like the boy who cries wolf. Why should we believe him now? Quote
johndahl Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 You can't let a slash go at that point, especially when everyone in the arena sees it. It is unfortunate that Minnesota seems to be playing their best hockey of the year starting this game, 2nd period, though... Quote
duluthSioux Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 wow that period did not go well! think they can pull a rabbit out of the hat on this one? Quote
Snake Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 How are they going to find four goals in one period if they can't do it in a full game? Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 He's been diving all weekend. He's like the boy who cries wolf. Why should we believe him now? Because we saw the reply of him getting totally slammed by MacWilliam. Maybe he didn't get hurt like he was acting, but there's no question it was a penalty. Quote
sioux14 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 wow that period did not go well! think they can pull a rabbit out of the hat on this one? If they get the first one early, they still have a chance. Stranger things have definitely happened. Quote
mikeypat15 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 All weekend the D have done nothing but fire shots directly into guys 5-10' in front of them. Move side to side and make a lane. That is the specific reason for Lucia's goal! Quote

The team has totally collapsed. The team is playing stupid and are only embarrassing themselves with how they are acting. This is exactly why I didn't like the tie yesterday. Cause now we've lost 3 points. AGAIN Quote
mikeypat15 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 And why does Hak not use his TO. 7 seconds apart, always ground for a TO. If he uses it, were likely to not get into this 5 on 3 situation. Quote

BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Am I the only one who doesn't like watching games played on the big ice? Win or lose, it just isn't as good to watch. Quote

That is the specific reason for Lucia's goal! No doubt - short cross ice passes and puck support don't seem to be ND's strength. It would be nice to see more of a focus on playmaking, like the Sioux teams from ten years ago. Quote

Maybe he didn't get hurt like he was acting, but there's no question it was a penalty. I didn't say that it wasn't a penalty, just that I won't trust that he's actually injured at this point unless he's bleeding out of his ear. Quote

jodcon Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 How are they going to find four goals in one period if they can't do it in a full game? Prevent defense and some good old fashioned horsesh*t luck. It's our only hope. Quote

Oxbow6 Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 This team has too many physical and mental shortcomings that continually rear their ugly heads. Sad as this team has talent. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 This team has too many physical and mental shortcomings that continually rear their ugly heads. Sad as this team has talent. With 10 freshman on the roster it shouldn't be totally surprising. I know we don't like to think that our freshman have a learning curve, but they might. Quote
duluthSioux Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 even for SOG...i think luck has a lot to do with a couple of the goals. Sioux need to get their heads in the game and come out in sync for the 3rd period and STAY OUT OF THE BOX Quote
