BigGreyAnt41
Tony Zajac? Who's he? Darcy's other older brother who plays for the Devils, apparently.
The Whistler
Tony Zajac? Who's he? Darcy's other older brother who plays for the Devils, apparently. With Zach on the other side. Must be a great line.
Oxbow6
As Redwing always says...how bout shooting the puck somewhere other than in the chest of the goalie.
UNDvince97-01
As Redwing always says...how bout shooting the puck somewhere other than in the chest of the goalie. With how skilled these players are on the ice......I always wonder the same thing? How can that happen so often?
BigGreyAnt41
In Cichy's defense on this last attempt, he had absolutely no momentum. If he would have tried to take a stride or two and make a better shot, he would have been knocked off the puck and wouldn't have taken a shot at all. I also suppose it's a very fine line between getting an actual shot on net compared to shooting it into the goalies chest.

BigGreyAnt41
Who's carrying the play so far? I have no video tonight. It's hard to say. It's back and forth, though the Gophers still only have 2 shots after 14:30 of the first period. And another penalty on Blood. That might have been an acting job by Cepis, but Blood put himself in position to make it easy. Blood shouldn't have had his arms wrapped around like that. brianvf
Ouch. Nice dive by Cepis there.

sioux14
I have not been able to find a webcast link. So I am listening to audio only. If anybody finds a webcast just let me know.
HaksHomey
Ouch. Nice dive by Cepis there. He's learning the gopher system quickly
BigGreyAnt41
Fans want a penalty of the Sioux. Frank and Doug are confident that there absolutely was not a penalty. The Gopher player ran into the Sioux player and fell down.

BigGreyAnt41
Birkholz scores. Cepis rings it off the crossbar and Birkholz picked up the rebound. 1-0 Gophers. He actually hit it out of the air after it hit the pipe.

duluthSioux
Erm, FSN isn't broadcasting it in HD um.. it says FSNORTHHD
BigGreyAnt41
um.. it says FSNORTHHD That's because you're watching the FSN HD channel, but the black bars on the sides only exist because the signal isn't HD but they still have to fill the widescreen frame. xI Hammer Ix
um.. it says FSNORTHLANDHD Just because it's on an HD channel doesn't mean they're using HD cameras
