BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 After listening to Gorg keep calling him "Kreesto," I decided to look up the pronunciation gude in the media guide. I think I figured out why the tools on BTN last night kept called him "Greg-ware". The media guide has his name phoenetically spelled as "greg-WAHR". At least I can understand where the "-ware" came from. I still don't know where TH gets "greg-WIRE" from. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 HD is definitely better than not HD. But TV is better than no TV, so I won't complain Quote
brianvf Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 4+ min have elapsed in the hockey game. Meanwhile, 1min has elapsed in this stupid bball game on FSC-A. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Minnesota penalty. Let's start early and get a goal on this power play. Quote
Fetch Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 whats with the babysitter in the penelty box Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 whats with the babysitter in the penelty box There's always a babysitter in the penalty box. Or is there something particular about this one? Quote

TH grew up in the Twin Cities so maybe that doesn't matter. The one that gets me is Cichy. It's funny how you pronounce the name differently if they play football or hockey. Quote

Those games drag on forever. Plus it's overplayed on TV, who's playing tonight? Never-heard-of-you versus where-on-earth-is-that? Quote
johndahl Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Woah, those green Sioux uniforms are not attractive. I wasn't a huge fan of the big green numbers on last night's jerseys, but I'd take black over these grass green jerseys any day. Quote

You've got "jag-wahr", "jag-wire" and "jag-u-are" Quote
Oxbow6 Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 Our PP looks disjointed. No crispness to it at all. And Kristo fires it every time he touches it. Quote
