I Ranger
When I win the lottery I'm going to buy an NHL team and fill it with ex-Sioux players. Here's my team as of today (skaters are from the NHL and AHL): Parise - Toews - Stafford Blake - Zajac - Oshie Bayda - R Johnson - Porter L Wilson - B Lundbohm - Bochenski Commodore - Greene Hale - Lee Chorney - Smaby Goehring Lamoureux How crazy is it to think that all these guys could have been on the same team had Greene and Parise stuck around for all four years? I would have taken my chances against any team with that line-up.
PHE
Can I be the water boy AussieSiouxFan, I will add you to the roster. I guess if I have a professional Video Coach I can have a a professional water boy. I figured I had to include all the coaches since AZ Sioux and UNDintheNHL have done some much research on former players.

31-9
5 goals in 5 games for Parise now. Over/under on how long he'll keep the streak anybody? Not Sioux related . . . but during intermission, they showed video of ex-Gopher Paul Martin playing football in high school. He was really good, like 3,009 yds. rushing good. Oh, and has anyone posted the video of Oshie talking about among other things, his Halloween costume? I saw it over on USCHO, but I don't know if anyone put the link here too. UNDintheNHL
Oshie-Bayda matchup even at 0 after 1. Bayda with a few good hits, Oshie deked out someone on CAR defense, but other than that he has been invisible. Backes has been hot though. 31-9
Devils blogger/beat writer gives away the key to Zach Parise's success, he's part of a special club; you know you're jealous. The Shot Club It is called the Shot Club, although not by those who are members. The two most avid members are Zach Parise and Travis Zajac, who take the ice early before virtually every practice and most morning skates. They work on shots and tip-ins before most teammates are even dressed. "We usually go out and shoot the puck while the ice is still good," Zajac told me. "It helps a lot. One example is watching Zach. It seems like every time we work on something in practice, that's how he scores that night." Parise did not deny it was true. "It kind of has been like that lately," the left winger said. "We've been doing a l ot of stuff around the net, making sure we get shots under the crossbar. I work on trying to get shots off quick. You don't get a lot of opportunities. I'm a believer that when you get those one or two opportunities you have to bury them." He does not, however, like the name Shot Club. "That's what the jealous people call it," Parise said with a laugh. Like Brian Gionta. "My dream is to get into the Shot Club," Gionta said sarcastically. "It's a very select group. Actually, I just can't get dressed quick enough (to get out there early)." Zajac and Parise have a name for those not in the Shot Club. "We call them the Pretenders," Parise said. "There are a lot of people trying to get in our club."
WiSioux
Oshie got hurt in tonight's game... from the Blues fans it sounds like he tweaked an ankle/knee on a faceoff... skated off under his own power but was favoring one leg... we'll have to see if he misses any games and how that affects his play. EDIT: I'm hearing high ankle sprain

31-9
Hacked from facebook by a poster on njdevs.com - Pictures from the Devils Halloween party. If this were Colorado College, I believe Zach would be in a lot of trouble for the black face makeup. Source - njdevs.com - for anyone interested, there are also pictures of Mike Rupp and his wife dressed as Sean Avery and his whore/prostitute . . . the wife was Sean Avery, Rupp was the whore.
