Sioux_Hab-it
he was on the visiting team and he showed he was a bit rusty with no move go commie!! A great trade for Ottawa as they lacked grit on their blueline and now I get watch one of my all-time favorite Sioux players on a regular basis. Goon
3 point night for Toews as he had an assist too. That is an impressive night. Since Toews got back the Hawks are 2-0-1.
keikla
That is an impressive night. Since Toews got back the Hawks are 2-0-1. I would think just having him back makes the entire team more confident, thus playing better. But it sure doesn't hurt to have him putting up a 3 pt. night in addition to the general confidence boost

AZSIOUX
from the hawks game recap With rookie Jonathan Toews in the lineup, the Blackhawks are 21-16-4. Without him, they're 5-9-2. Coincidence? Absolutely not. "He's special," Hawks coach Denis Savard said. "We missed him when he wasn't in the lineup. Injuries aren't an excuse, but he's such a go-to guy for us." 31-9
Parise nets #21 in the first tonight vs. ATL and misses in the shootout. Travis also failed to win the game for the Devs in the shootout. JPar appears to be injured again . . . Lowell called up a goalie from Trenton. I'll try and find out his status.

Is that enough to get him rookie of the year? Seems like he's more important to the team than Kane.
