Siouxdonyms Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Looks like he's taken over Duncan's spot and shot, high to the short side from the right dot He shot a fair amount from there his freshman year, but not so much last year due to Dunc always being there. I always remember his blind shot from that spot, where he'd be looking up ice and just fire a wrister. Did that in the World Juniors too. Quote

UNDintheNHL Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 yeah good night so far. now with bayda and commy on the ice for carolina, lets hope something goes well for them lol Quote
31-9 Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I can tell you firsthand that the former Sioux on the Devils have been very frustrated, so it's about time they had a good night. Parise even cursed while being interviewed by the media after the last game; he dropped an f-bomb, he was so pissed. Plus Travis is a Penguin-killer. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Zajac and Parise each have a goal in tonight's Devils/Penguins game. Parise also has an assist on Zajac's goal. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 This is part of an email I received from a Cardiff Devils fan. That's our boy!! ...Prpich had a good weekend getting 3 assists and his first goal in front of a home crowd. In the home game against the Panthers he had his first fight, against Bergin who must stand at least 5" taller that Prpich. What a scrap Mike threw his helmet and gloves off and to Bergins amazement offer him out. Bergin had no choice but to do the same. Prpich was like a whirlwind they both just stood there and trade punches in a old style hockey fight, no holding jerseys just a pure exchange of heavy punches to the head. Ref stopped the fight (whilst both players were still on their feet) out fear of serious injury. As Mike skated of the ice to get medical attention he was heard to say to the coach " That was totally cool". When I spoke to Mike after and he was sporting 6 stitches to the side of his face, the other guys hands were totally smashed up like raw meat. Mike said to say hi to you. Quote

31-9 Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Karl Goehring was released from his PTO with the WBS Penguins. Sorry guys, but Curry's back. I'm sure someone will pick him up though. Link Quote
UNDintheNHL Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Commodore had the secondary assist last night on the GWG with 1:06 left in the 3rd. passed it up to Trevor Letowski in the slot who tried to tip it in, but it missed the net. Cory Stillman got it, came around the back of the net, backhanded it from about 5 feet out from the side of the net, and it bounced off of Vokun's pad into the goal. Quote
