AZSIOUX
The Sioux visit the DECC this coming weekend and will be playing again on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Big series for the Sioux to keep up with CC and stay ahead of DU. The Sioux are coming off a sweep vs Bemidji State at home. Congrats to Aaron Walski for his first career win and shutout on Sunday afternoon. Great job Aaron! Duluth is coming off getting swept at home vs CC and didnt score 1 goal the whole weekend. The Sioux are riding a 13 game unbeaten streak and have given up 2 total goals in their last 3 games. Phil and company have also only given up 18 total goals in the 13 game unbeaten streak. Keep it rolling in Duluth!! - 4th in Pairwise Rankings Overall Record: 21-8-2 WCHA: 16-7-1, 33 points Home: 13-4-

LeftyZL
I also say Sneakers Bar will be full of Sioux fans this weekend! Sneaker's Bar? Where's that in Duluth? I moved here last June and have never heard of or been to that bar. As for hotels, there's a ton within a few blocks of the arena. The Suites, Canal Park Lodge, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn, Comfot Suites, Best Western.
Bob in Wisconsin
Just an FYI, you may be able to get the Holiday Inn or the brand new Sheraton downtown for $55/night on Priceline. I have gotten the HI for that in the past. From another bulletin board, someone did get the Sheraton for $55 for Friday night.
UND85
We're staying at the Holiday Inn. Looking forward to seeing the Sioux in person after having to watch the last couple of weekends on tv or staying glued to this site and watching the game thread. Bob in Wisconsin
I wouldn't be suprised to see some of LaPointe's family and friends in Duluth, being that he's from Eau Claire, 2 hrs south of Duluth. I think there were a couple hundred in Madison.
dagies
Let's keep the winning streak going, and keep the pressure on CC. There's still a slight chance at the McNaughton. Let's punish Duluth for not helping us out!

Runninwiththedogs
I'll be there this weekend, rolling in Saturday night and going to the Sunday game in my Curry game-worn. He's 6-4, I'm 5-1... so there's no need for pants. This will be our senior weekend, so it would be nice if there was some support for Ziegelmann from the Sioux fans there. Let'sGoHawks!
Sneakers is the Holiday Inn hotel bar. It is a sportsbar setting, always full of Sioux fans as most are staying at the Holiday Inn (Al Pearson's two busloads are staying there). Meet at Sneakers!
