  1. Wrong, this guy doesn't know squat. Believe it or not the best kick return guys are a step faster than Santiago in the NFL. Top jitter bug guys, and I put John in this category are better with punt returns, slot, or 3rd down back. Did everyone see John's play in the slot, 4 guys flat out missed and were laying on the ground and the 5th guy he jumped over then John lost his balance.
  2. Hate speech -

Austin Gordon, supposedly unstoppable off the edge, hasn't played yet. Nguon on the OL, supposedly very good player would either start or back-up with no drop in play. No Lenny yet. Another safety Ommeren hasn't played. No Tank at Washington. Larson dinged. Tobin dinged. Walezko dinged. Brady dinged against MVSU, barely played at UW. I thought another safety was hurt against UW, too. It's adding up.

Only 5-6 starters either questionable or out. 1/4 of the 22 starting positions. This doesn't seem to be that good of news although it appears most injuries are not season ending.
  5. For sure. I am a little bothered at the moment but week #3 is 'thee' zero excuse measuring stick game of the 2018 season. Especially a close watch on Rudy(scheme), Rudy and Bubba (use of personell), Bubba (in game management) Schmitty (stop, or at least slow a passing attack) Kostich (good luck buddy, kicker and punting situation is not good) Recruiting coordinator (Joel) WTF!!
  6. We 'll see. UW and Utah play next week.
  7. And if we do have 3 to 5" per man on the outside.....no jump ball or 50/50 balls, not one??
  8. Ya, please pass the crow on Greer, that guy played his a_s off at a high level. And sometimes, that's what a drop in the depth chart can do, light a fire!! Kett was a disappointment. Keaton elevated against Utah. Kett clammed up.
  9. Right. We showed a lot of class in not curb stomping MVSU, or we are not capable of that. Then against UW, we just knew we had to play it close to the vest and not show Sam H. what we have, or we are not cold blooded killers. Both games didn't send the right message to me anyway. Sam H. probably thinks our QB can't throw the ball more than 10 feet watching the UW game!! (Unless out of bounds) Week #3, put up or shut up.
  10. Much improved Miss Valley St...........maybe not, lost 71-0 to Jack. St.
  11. If you put a piece of coal up Ket's a_s before the game it would have come out a diamond.
  12. Just about what I was thinking. Where is a short quick throw over the middle......so frustrated with our 3 and outs!!! A team will never win with more 3 and outs than points!! 10 - 3 and outs. 3 points
  13. Ryan Bowman and Cowardly Lion
  14. Jusstis Warren and guy from Roseanne
  15. With BWW, we are Slinging it as of this morning.
  16. I hope to know today!! I just got word - BWW South Location in Fargo. Right now, enter and to the far right, 40 seat room reserved. Right next is the 90 seat open area we can use for over flow. When we win, I will pick up all tabs!!

Actually a pretty good read. I like his answer about Sam H. going all the way......he pretty much said, "nope", "not physical enough". That needs to be an advantage for us.
  18. I hear ya!!
  19. About time some logic is used in scheduling, good work. Imagine traveling to Youngstown.....and not playing in Brookings for example.
  20. Believe me, we will watch a lot of film, looking for small advantages to create. Other than that, good speech.
  21. For sure. Just as we played down a little to our week #1 opponent we will play up to our week #2 opponent. It might sound odd, you should play your hardest all the time, right? But it is undeniably different playing Morningside one week, then No. Colorado the next. (Back in the day when UNC was really good)
  22. I think part of the problem is we are predictably in man press with pressure. The QB has 2 seconds and throws it up with our guy having no idea where the ball is.
  23. A lot of good analysis from posters. Some missing items- Santiago will need patience in the screen game. He had so much open space I think he almost went into shock and ran full speed into defenders. He needs to tuck behind a big O-lineman down the field until a opportunity arises. Harris- in a world of stats, nothing is better than pick 6's at corner. I honestly don't know why NFL scouts are at our practices, cause Harris isn't that caliber. He played like crap. After Washington, we'll know if he can hang or not. If our corners are manned up and back to the ball too much then we are totally screwed this year. They might want to mix in man from a cover 3 type coverage, always keeping an eye on the QB. They call them 50/50 balls but seems like they are more like 70/30, the bad way against our corners.
  24. Because it would be demoralizing to 'give up'. Plus on the road, our roster isn't that big anyway.
  25. I disagree. We need to find success, even if it is against their 2's and 3's, then pull mid 4th in a blow out scenario.
