I don't think a free student ticket will get you on the field in the end zone bar......

My 4 year old sacked him tonight at Fan Fest. He took the hit well!! Ket goofed around with him for a while, it was great!!
-
Shouldn't it be the turnover trash can? I'm sure someone can figure that out. We fill it, then "turnover" to Bubba.
-
I wonder if that crept into Studsy's mind? I hope Ket plays balls out knowing he has some depth behind him.

Last season a link was provided. Really simple to give some $$.

Essentially. Players can log in from any device, watch film. (I think)

Attendance for Thursday all depends on the students. Will they make up for the folks that can't travel for a Thursday game? Does the University/Alerus have a plan in case 4,000 students show up for tailgating, which is possible, yet only 1,700 funnel into the game?

Lame. I hope teams poo poo this and still return the ball. Do we have a kick returner or a kick catcher, this rule sucks!! A rule I do like is offense can't block below the waist downfield. I think that's been in place for a while down the field but in the 90's, 30 yards down the field an offensive guy could cut/dive at your knees/ankles at anytime. It was brutal taking a cut from a guy with that much run at it.

Probably angling to put a redshirt on Grover, then.

That Iowa team 'Received Votes' in the final poll. So somewhere between 26th and 35th ranked. (thought I'd do a little trolling today) That Michigan teamed finished 18/19 in the polls. I hope we stay within 28 points in our game......then we'll see where Washington ends up. I will say top 5 if they beat Auburn, harder to say with a loss in that game for Washington.

His juco hudl shows he is a gun slinger. Throws quick from any body position. I think 45-50 yards was his longest throw with some air under it. Would like to see a little more with the deep ball, but he's still pretty young.
-
I heard it is Ket, Grover, Zim, then Boltman, but the margin is razor thin between 2-4. Does Grover have a redshirt left, anyone??
-
If we had a player half as good as Joe Prothero, Rudy would be at BAMA already!!

I did say something. I suggested Mason Bennett at Outside Backer to essentially give us a 4-3 feel. Staff thought we'd get killed in that flats with a passing game. I countered that we can't cover anyone anyway plus the opposing offense will have to make that adjustment 1st. So, I did feel we didn't at least try something different than catching running backs and getting drug for 5-7 yards per play. And in our system, we need really good cover corners (like we had in the 90's....ha ha) or the rest of the defense isn't allowed to get totally nuts and make plays.

Can't get the "right protection" up front. I think I have heard that since 2014.
-
I've been concerned about the offense since 2014!!
-
When you scrimmage your own guys.....from a defensive standpoint, you pretty much know what's coming and you know the exact skill level of the guy across from you, big advantage. Also, the offense doesn't really game plan to attack a defense (and it's weakness) in a scrimmage. So I concur, the D line should look better as should the defense as a whole.

You saved me some typing, but flip the Montana game. The year we didn't play Montana, they were crappy, and the last 2 games we did play them, both on the road, we didn't have a prepared QB and could not have played worse. Montana isn't that good and we get them at the Alerus, just about guaranteeing this is a W. 1st game - too easy 2nd game - too hard Sam H. - Nothing leads me to believe we have the maturity, preparation, experience, or the schematics to go down and make this close. I have a feeling Sam H. is going to take out the NDSU poundings on us. at 1-2 we play better to finish the year at 7-4. If our losses can be quality ones, especially against Sam H. and Washington, then we get in. If they aren't, then we are out of the playoffs.

I thought Griebel would see RB reps before Mckinny. UNLESS we are truly using Santiago differently this year, then it would make sense to have your next best player in that mold taking reps. Can it be??

Half of the 4,000 student left when the game started. Then of the 2,000 students with tickets only 1,600 go into the game. Then half leave cause it doesn't feel like the cool place to be and we are left with 800 or so that stick it out. Why not scan tickets until 2,000 are in the building or hand out 2,500 tickets for the 2,000 seats, knowing we have the catwalks for overflow if needed!! I have brought this up to the committee but they don't seem very concerned about it........frustrating!!

Ya, total athlete that you don't get from the other guys. Look for Morrison on passing situations and he'll be tagged to pressure the QB or lay back for an RB on a screen. I am not sure how UND plays it but normally if you see a guy that isn't pass rushing with full effort it's because he's assigned to smoother any offensive player lingering for a screen pass. Tank and Greer - plug the middle - stop the run - put the O in 3rd and long - bring in Morrison. Also, with depth charts, if a player isn't happy with where he is at, it's up to the player to change that. (Greer/Ev Williams/many other guys) So, although a good initial look, I wouldn't put too much into the 1st depth chart.
-
If you demand average Greer is still available.
-
We traded Andrew Jones for Steckler. You must have missed the memo!!
-
Did Steckler put his name on a committmemt letter and post it? If so, it would be my opinion he should stick with that.
