I hope to know today!! I just got word - BWW South Location in Fargo. Right now, enter and to the far right, 40 seat room reserved. Right next is the 90 seat open area we can use for over flow. When we win, I will pick up all tabs!!

Actually a pretty good read. I like his answer about Sam H. going all the way......he pretty much said, "nope", "not physical enough". That needs to be an advantage for us.
-
I hear ya!!

About time some logic is used in scheduling, good work. Imagine traveling to Youngstown.....and not playing in Brookings for example.
-
Believe me, we will watch a lot of film, looking for small advantages to create. Other than that, good speech.

For sure. Just as we played down a little to our week #1 opponent we will play up to our week #2 opponent. It might sound odd, you should play your hardest all the time, right? But it is undeniably different playing Morningside one week, then No. Colorado the next. (Back in the day when UNC was really good)

I think part of the problem is we are predictably in man press with pressure. The QB has 2 seconds and throws it up with our guy having no idea where the ball is.

A lot of good analysis from posters. Some missing items- Santiago will need patience in the screen game. He had so much open space I think he almost went into shock and ran full speed into defenders. He needs to tuck behind a big O-lineman down the field until a opportunity arises. Harris- in a world of stats, nothing is better than pick 6's at corner. I honestly don't know why NFL scouts are at our practices, cause Harris isn't that caliber. He played like crap. After Washington, we'll know if he can hang or not. If our corners are manned up and back to the ball too much then we are totally screwed this year. They might want to mix in man from a cover 3 type coverage, always keeping an eye on the QB. They call them 50/50 balls but seems like they are more like 70/30, the bad way against our corners.

Because it would be demoralizing to 'give up'. Plus on the road, our roster isn't that big anyway.
-
I disagree. We need to find success, even if it is against their 2's and 3's, then pull mid 4th in a blow out scenario.
-
UW QB shaken up a little. Looked like an ankle and his head hit the turf pretty hard. He was in the injury tent.
-
And yet Kostich has what could be the BEST TE in the state of MN committed...... I love the small town kids, but a lot of our guys are not small town kids. I have seen our TE coach in many situations and I disagree with your assessment.

Right on!! The good ones don't get caught!!
-
If so, we will get out banded and out danced on the field today. I think the scoreboard is pretty safe though. Time to pull the kids from school and hit the road!!

Watch the knees....as one of our fellow posters got taken out at the knee last year near the student section!! He was an offensive guy, not used to the cut blocking I guess.
-
I am on it. We did one for the Utah game.

That would work, scan in 2,100 for the 2,000 seats and catwalk areas. Really, that is a simple solution!!
-
This is part of the reason the student section isn't full. UND and the Alerus have years of data on how many of the 2,000 student tickets are scanned. It's below 80%. Yet, after pointing this out a year ago......sadly, they didn't change anything. I would fire someone!!
-
I see now.....we are talking about 2 different things. Although field level might not happen game #1.

I don't know if anyone has clarified something on the 4 games rule. Anyone who hasn't taken a red shirt can play in any 4 games and still 'red shirt'. Last year under this rule could have been a 'red shirt' year for Holm, I think he played in 4 games, last game was spread out from the others. On Thursday UND can play a lot of true freshman, then likely sit them out and save them in case they need to fill in during the year. Jon and Brady could 'red shirt' if they only play in 4 games or less. Very wild stuff.
