If we can stick a big hit on their QB, and/or if Dare has another day like he did last week, we have a chance. Sam H. QB had 168 yards and 2 picks last week. Briscoe would throw for 150 yards a quarter last year for Sam H.

I can't make a prediction because I'm terrified that we will play our traditional 'our style of football'. So, I hope to see UND 2.0 shine and start gearing up for the playoffs.

As players, at this level, can't be tight because it's a big game. Could our scheme make us look tight on offense or put our corners on an island and give up big chunks.....I think this is more likely to be the issue compared to our guys being tight. Time to shine, players and coaches, this game is HUGE!!

And this is the ball game. Sam H. will not have a balanced attack against us, expect an air raid. And I am guessing Sam H. has zero respect for our passing attack. When Santiago is in the backfield, expect heavy run blitze. If we are not anticipating or countering we lose by 3 TDs. Can't wait for game time. Big game, big impact on our program. Many that are on the fence right now, UND football fans, will be watching closely!!

If a DB has his back turned......the WR has an advantage, that is for sure. Every one does it to us......and we have done it zero times, a little puzzling.

Pure speculation but I think the staff froze Kett's mind heading into the game. Again, no one told me this but I can imagine him being told. "no negative plays, throw the ball out of bounds, limit downfield shots, don't take a sack, a punt is better than a pick, etc" I haven't seen a stare like that since I sat in my stand too late and shined a big buck walking out of the woods. This would have been part of my approach, say it's 3rd and 5 to 3rd and 10. We throw a deep ball, back shoulder or jump ball, either, these are the results: (assuming a 40 yard throw) 1. complete for 40 yards (huge confidence builder and stretches defense) 2. Pass Interference (15 and a 1st) (still a confidence booster) 3. Interception (if we tackle, 40 yards is longer than an ensuing punt) 4. incomplete (worst case cause we averaged 30 something yards a punt) 5. Interception with a return, but unlikely if we are running it correctly Makes sense to me -

Wrong, this guy doesn't know squat. Believe it or not the best kick return guys are a step faster than Santiago in the NFL. Top jitter bug guys, and I put John in this category are better with punt returns, slot, or 3rd down back. Did everyone see John's play in the slot, 4 guys flat out missed and were laying on the ground and the 5th guy he jumped over then John lost his balance.

Austin Gordon, supposedly unstoppable off the edge, hasn't played yet. Nguon on the OL, supposedly very good player would either start or back-up with no drop in play. No Lenny yet. Another safety Ommeren hasn't played. No Tank at Washington. Larson dinged. Tobin dinged. Walezko dinged. Brady dinged against MVSU, barely played at UW. I thought another safety was hurt against UW, too. It's adding up.

Only 5-6 starters either questionable or out. 1/4 of the 22 starting positions. This doesn't seem to be that good of news although it appears most injuries are not season ending.

For sure. I am a little bothered at the moment but week #3 is 'thee' zero excuse measuring stick game of the 2018 season. Especially a close watch on Rudy(scheme), Rudy and Bubba (use of personell), Bubba (in game management) Schmitty (stop, or at least slow a passing attack) Kostich (good luck buddy, kicker and punting situation is not good) Recruiting coordinator (Joel) WTF!!

Ya, please pass the crow on Greer, that guy played his a_s off at a high level. And sometimes, that's what a drop in the depth chart can do, light a fire!! Kett was a disappointment. Keaton elevated against Utah. Kett clammed up.

Right. We showed a lot of class in not curb stomping MVSU, or we are not capable of that. Then against UW, we just knew we had to play it close to the vest and not show Sam H. what we have, or we are not cold blooded killers. Both games didn't send the right message to me anyway. Sam H. probably thinks our QB can't throw the ball more than 10 feet watching the UW game!! (Unless out of bounds) Week #3, put up or shut up.

Just about what I was thinking. Where is a short quick throw over the middle......so frustrated with our 3 and outs!!! A team will never win with more 3 and outs than points!! 10 - 3 and outs. 3 points
