  1. Rasheed Williams and Iguana
  2. Matt Peterson and this guy from Road Trip
  3. Now would be a good time to start, after the big W.
  4. I know a guy that will be ready for some Idaho St. redemption, Deion Harris. In 2015, Madison Mangum and KW Williams ate Harris and the UND secondary for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 4th meal. Combined, Mangum and Williams had 22 receptions, 346 yards, and 3 TDs. Obviously not all on Harris, but they had their fair share on him.
  5. We have to beat the Griz after the bye week. For some reason, that carries a lot of weight. 5-1 and we'll be fine in the polls.
  6. If a player red shirts with any hint of an injury, shouldn't we be claiming that? It would be silly not to.
  7. 1st 7 loss team to be in. Quality losses are Iowa St., Montana, Iowa, NDSU, SDSU, Western Ill., and Ill State or USD. As long as the games are close, no worries. Prothroe might have to grad transfer there. That would be a match made in heaven!! College Game Day, every week!!
  8. We were laughing our AO!!
  9. And a sprinkle of McKinny, he can scoot, too.
  10. I think he is out for the season, 95% sure, because 1) how it buckled 2) his reaction 3) his body language told me he's been thru this before. Sucks big time, and again, just my observation.
  11. Dude, let's not go that far!!
  12. The players and coordinators had a back and forth game, which is what we having been working towards. Against a top 10 team on the road, it would be really odd for our coordinators to have the upper hand throughout the entire game. Rudy battled tonight. With a healthier O-line we would have looked better, too. On D, the key number of pass rushers seemed to be 4. I feel I saw this before Schmitty, but we eventually settled in. If we can continue to pressure and get sacks with 4 rushing I have more confidence against teams spreading us out this season. Also, we had Harris jamming on the short side and Holm on the wide a lot tonight, seemed to be effective. As stated after the Washington game, good things happen when you throw deep!!
  13. Right!! We receive votes and Sam H. drops to 12. That makes sense-
  14. T Stepps. Holm played well!!
  15. Wheeee!!!!!!!
  16. Go F yourself!!
  17. If we can stick a big hit on their QB, and/or if Dare has another day like he did last week, we have a chance. Sam H. QB had 168 yards and 2 picks last week. Briscoe would throw for 150 yards a quarter last year for Sam H.
  18. I can't make a prediction because I'm terrified that we will play our traditional 'our style of football'. So, I hope to see UND 2.0 shine and start gearing up for the playoffs.
  19. As players, at this level, can't be tight because it's a big game. Could our scheme make us look tight on offense or put our corners on an island and give up big chunks.....I think this is more likely to be the issue compared to our guys being tight. Time to shine, players and coaches, this game is HUGE!!
  20. Sounds like they understand, Santiago - "This game will make or break us".

    Sam Houston

And this is the ball game. Sam H. will not have a balanced attack against us, expect an air raid. And I am guessing Sam H. has zero respect for our passing attack. When Santiago is in the backfield, expect heavy run blitze. If we are not anticipating or countering we lose by 3 TDs. Can't wait for game time. Big game, big impact on our program. Many that are on the fence right now, UND football fans, will be watching closely!!
  22. If a DB has his back turned......the WR has an advantage, that is for sure. Every one does it to us......and we have done it zero times, a little puzzling.
  23. Pure speculation but I think the staff froze Kett's mind heading into the game. Again, no one told me this but I can imagine him being told. "no negative plays, throw the ball out of bounds, limit downfield shots, don't take a sack, a punt is better than a pick, etc" I haven't seen a stare like that since I sat in my stand too late and shined a big buck walking out of the woods. This would have been part of my approach, say it's 3rd and 5 to 3rd and 10. We throw a deep ball, back shoulder or jump ball, either, these are the results: (assuming a 40 yard throw) 1. complete for 40 yards (huge confidence builder and stretches defense) 2. Pass Interference (15 and a 1st) (still a confidence booster) 3. Interception (if we tackle, 40 yards is longer than an ensuing punt) 4. incomplete (worst case cause we averaged 30 something yards a punt) 5. Interception with a return, but unlikely if we are running it correctly Makes sense to me -
  24. We should be able to have a new wrinkle each week ready to go. These are 4 year college students, many on campus year round.
