Bison 73 acknowledged the game was over after the fake, and said he would kneel and you agreed with him. I said they should have kneeled after the fake, and you replied nope, those were some valuable real time snaps that the third stringers would’ve missed out on. your replies are polar opposite based solely on who made the comment. Agreed. UND fans make critical comments about the decisions being made by our football staff all the time, and nobody gets their shorts in a bunch. But the minute someone makes a critical comment about the bison, the lurkers show up with their atomic wedgies, running to the defense of Lord Entz. I am really getting a kick out of how bison06 completely contradicted himself when replying to me vs his reply to bison 73.

Wow. So field position, time remaining, score etc don’t play a part in the decision making process on fakes the ‘majority’ of the time? Only the ‘defensive look’ influences the call the majority of the time? I did not know that. Thanks. How about after the successful fake with under two minutes to play and ahead by 3 scores; what’s the protocol for the decision making there for deciding to take a knee and end the game in 3 snaps, or to decide to keep piling on points?

I ran out also. Then somebody sent me a Forum link, and it worked. Maybe that’s a way around it- we each take turns copying links to all the sports stories and post them here.

I guess I think it’s more like let’s say I was mutually, happily married to Pamela Anderson, but then one day some a hole social justice warriors came along and decided our love was forbidden. We were forced to divorce, and I was forced to get remarried to my choice of Rosie O’Donnell, Madeline Albright, Janet Reno, or Whoopi Goldberg. And not only did I have to remarry one of them, but I had to keep hearing from these social justice warriors, and others, about how great my new wife is, and that I should buy whatever she’s selling.

My bad. For some reason I thought the last couple sections near the ends were cheaper. The more responses I read here, I’m on board with just move the students already and see if more people will show up if they can buy a better seat.

You make a good point about the "tens of student fans" lol. I was just thinking to give a warning so the overaction/fake outrage that is so common nowadays wouldn't occur. Like when a total of 200 people attended UND women's hockey playoff games, but thousands were faux upset over dropping the program.

Maybe the athletic department should have written an open letter to the students before the season began stating expectations for attendance numbers and sticking around the whole game. And if they failed to meet those expectations, those prime seats would be sold to season-ticket holder‘s next year, and the student section would be moved to the end. And point out to them the end is where the student seats are in nearly every college football stadium.

I agree and have heard similar sentiments. A lot of people/students don’t like the logo, but still want to support UND so they sparingly buy some of the hawk gear.

Is there a breakdown of student fees that designates x number of dollars towards football seats? Reducing fees by the difference in value of midfield seats vs end seats would seem to be an equitable solution. (I don’t mean dollar for dollar reduction; but rather some percentage break down based on the fraction of their student fees based on football seats)

I see ndsu was up by 3 scores with two minutes remaining and decided to run a fake field goal on 4th down. They later punched it in for one more touchdown in the final minute. Classy.
