Stating that Oakland U is very interested in hockey and will start it and Oakland U will purchase the Palace are very difference arguments that you jammed together for no reason. Number #1 doesn’t require #2. Stick to grammar, typos, and misspellings as your logic centers.

You obviously don’t read the links: https://www.detroitnews.com/story/sports/2018/10/26/oakland-university-negotiating-buy-palace-auburn-hills/1773767002/ The purchase was a pipe dream, as many follow on articles said. But it shows the Oakland U admin was serious about obtaining anything usable for a college hockey rink and thereby serious about hockey. The Detroit Red Wings want them to start varsity hockey, but their practice rinks are too small and too far away.

Hess Midstream:is expanding its Tioga plant to the tune of $150 mill, which will now be by far the largest in state. https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20190425005167/en/Hess-Midstream-Partners-Announces-Plan-Expand-Natural Hess and OneOk are in a battle for the most nat gas processing capacity,, but since OneOK takes the C3 and higher liquids (y-grade) out of state for further processing, Hess brings a lot more value to the ND economy. OneOK just announced another $100 mill pipeline to take NGL out of state that will almost directly compete with Hess’s Tioga plant. https://www.tulsaworld.com/business/oneok-to-construct-million-pipeline-in-north-dakota/article_c4f5ccfe-3f58-5b65-9c68-a8fd33fb1059.html

How long before Heidi brings back WIH and ups of the status of SJW’s? The last school she went to was Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, and that’s a left wing bastion of SJW that UND has not yet seen.

They do have some of the best programs for DII. They would pass for a DI league in the east. Concordia-St Paul’s program example is top notch. Northern St demolished NDSU in a spring game.

Pryor was named the head coach at Mary Hardin-Baylor, a DIII Baptist school. In the coaching announcement, it is very clear that his faith, family, and church were the predominate reasons for the change. https://www.kcentv.com/article/sports/umhb-names-mark-pryor-head-volleyball-coach/500-dfe2fcdf-9e5f-4f38-8f7b-168c74a301cb

When you lose an argument, you always resort to being the grammar, spelling and typo Nazi.

Never thought the Palace was an absolute lock to be bought be Oakland U. But hockey will find a way to be a sport at Oakland U. Your a horrible mind reader, even though you think you’re clairvoyant.
-
Apparently, you thought erroneously that Oakland wanted 22,000 seats. They were looking at using the lower bowl and renovating the whole upper bowl complex and part of the parking lot for another college use. The Palace is close to OU. The whole Seattle Key Center renovation will cost $900 million.

Would be interesting if the price of season tickets goes up that year. The demand for tickets for that one game will be insane.

Williston District 8 is already nicknamed the Hawks fo the middle school. The vote for a new high school there is next month. Williston City District #1 voters turned down a high school expansion and new elementary schools, so District #1 will be overcrowded for its own students and their threats to not allow District 8 HS students is taken much more seriously by District #8 voters now. https://www.district8nd.com/

One poster on another board is claiming that Bellarmine is talking to another conference, as the ASun won’t necessarily go through the addition. Could it be the Horizon, which likely wants keep it quiet? The ASun would dramatically increased travel while the Horizon would not be much worse than the GLVC, and Bellarmine is the easternmost school in that conference. Years ago, the GLVC didn’t have teams west of St Louis, and now it’s centered there. If it is, the Horizon likes big metro regions schools without football. Fort Wayne (CSA pop of 630 k) and Louisville (MSA pop of 1.2 mill) fit that bill. Detroit Mercy is the only private school now, and must be pushing for another private to replace Valpo and Loyola Chi. NKU was a slam dunk addition for the Horizon, and Louisville maybe has just as rapid basketball fans as Cincinnati. Bellarmine could play in other venues in Louisville that U of Louisville left. Bellarmine’s on campus facility only seats 2500. The OVC can take them too, but why did the OVC change their tournament location to Evansville, the home of USI? USI poured ~$50 mill into their remodeled arena and Evansville also has the much larger Ford Center.

An article on Tulsa U, which is spending $10’s of millions for athletics above what it takes in at the expense of academics. Granted it has more that a billion $s in endowment funds, but the U has made major cuts in cultural and liberal arts majors, while emphasizing major that have higher paying positions upon graduating (engineering, health sciences) but within a social justice warrior framework. Emotional support animals, dogs and even horses, are common fare in class. https://www.city-journal.org/university-of-tulsa Hope and pray UND is not going down that course.

Hockey is a full scholarship sport. Any one getting a partial the NCAA considers that a full. Other players may be on the team, with the intent to give a scholarship later or that was formerly on scholarship a previous year, but they don’t count for the limit.
