  1. Scanned. See post 7 of this thread.
  2. We all know this, but happy to see Sam tweet this info out today.
  3. Yeah, the rea signs the contracts with the destination arenas, not und.
  4. That's what companies like the Brandr group are for. https://www.thebrandrgroup.com/licensing
  5. It's tough being a UND FB fan sometimes. Two of my three close UND friends only bring up UND Football when we lose. Or, when I finally get them to watch a game, we choke. We went through school during the transition and the Muss years left a long lasting, bad, impression. We need a win this coming weekend.
  6. Something like this needs to be a top priority and it's 100% legit and aligned with the spirit of the original NIL rules. I hope Chaves doesn't think a wait and see approach is necessary for something like this. UND could sell authentic hockey jerseys with the names and numbers of current players, and they could sell jirts of current players as well. https://frontofficesports.com/college-football-jersey-sales/
  7. This map is wrong. Where the housing market it hot, the map should show red. Where it's cold, the map should show blue!
  8. Do you know where I might be able to find that agreement online?
  9. I see these being real popular. Here is the first item. Sounds like it may be sold out at the Sioux Shop already. Does anyone know if the Dacotah Legacy collection is still sold at Scheels, and if not, does anyone know if it is exclusive to the Sioux Shop, and if so, why? I was researching this a little bit because I really think a partnership between UND and Homefield Apparel could work out great, but I don't know if there is a hang up somewhere or if there is a reason why UND wouldn't want a company like Homefield Apparel to sell UND stuff.. I emailed UND's new Licensing person about Homefield and she replied by saying this: "I met with Homefield a couple weeks ago and had an introductory conversation with them. We are still working through this internally if we want to move forward with a license with them and what that would look like for us. At this time I do not think it is a feasible timeline for Homefield to be carrying UND branded products by the end of this year. If anything further comes from this I will be sure to let you know." I followed up by replying with this email: "Thank you, Alyson. Quick question - given that Homefield likes to use old logos, I would think that there could be a hangup with the Sioux logos; is the Dacotah Legacy stuff exclusive to the Sioux Shop? I assume UND needs to figure out what they want to do in regard to branding strategy, given our unique history? I hope you can work out a deal with them at some point, because they have fun and unique designs, and there aren't a ton of exciting options out there right now. For the record, I asked about the Sioux Logo, but I have accepted UND's new logo and have/will purchase clothing with both logos. A flickertails shirt would be fun as well, in addition to more football stuff! Thanks for doing what you do! " I sent the follow up email twice and have not gotten a response, and it's been over a month now. Does anyone have any insight into this and what the hangup may be for UND when tons of other schools are working with them? I'm only asking here because my email was ignored. I did a google search to see if the Legacy stuff was sold anywhere other than the Sioux Shop, and I found that a bunch of stuff that is sold at https://fightingsiouxforever.com/collections/legacy-fighting-sioux. Does anyone know if that website is legit - are they selling officially licensed apparel?
  10. Looks like Google streetview was just updated last month for dt grand forks.

Montana 7 with Idaho 24 is a joke as well.
  12. Nobody wants St. Thomas offering MN kids FB scholarships. imo
  13. Awesome.
  14. Awesome. Thanks for the info. Might help to convince another family to drive up.
  15. I'd rather be at the SDSU game but I'll be at the Gopher game because I live in the cities. Have been wanting to head up to UND for a football game but it has been tough with a couple kids under three. Might actually drive up for the ACU game if anyone has 4 tickets they want to unload . Game won't be as loud, kids can go to the water park, and it would be fun to watch the Vegas game from one of the bars at the Canad. Really, the ACU game would be a great time for UND to run some type of family ticket promotion. They could also encourage season ticket holders who will be in Vegas to donate their tickets to local kids - not sure if they have a program like that already or not.
  16. With all the motions UND runs, does it make it harder for the opponents defense to communicate?
  17. That's not fair. Gfhockey actually has some good takes and contributes. Chapo is a straight up wack job.
  18. The ACU game worries me. ACU looks pretty good, and they have a QB that can through the ball and run. UND will also have their game in Vegas, so the Alerus will probably be a little dead as well.
  19. Maybe tallest fcs stadium
  20. That's exactly what companies like Opendorse help to facilitate. By the letter of the law (rules), it's perfectly legal, and UND can create a partnership with a company like that. UND wouldn't have anything to do with which players or companies do or don't choose to participate, and UND would have no involvement with any of the resulting NIL agreements.
  21. Technically, the new release said practice court, singular. The four-court plan was in the 2018 master plan. Whether or not that difference was intended, does anyone know? I don't think UND even knows for sure at this point.
  22. False, setting up programs with companies like opendorse is perfectly legit. Schools like CC, Miami, Mankato, Omaha, South Dakota, Western Michigan, and Youngstown are already working with them. Meanwhile, UND's official website literally says that paying a player for an autograph is against NCAA rules.
  23. I'm sure you would do fine, but I think you're underestimating the importance of regional rivalries and the fcs playoff format in what it means for fan engagement and recruiting. Especially if SDSU didn't move with you, and they don't appear to be interested, NDSU moving to FBS would have a lot of similarities to Gopher hockey moving to the Big Ten. They won the first like 4-5 Big Ten Championships, but it just didn't mean as much if they weren't playing and beating teams that had fans they could brag about this to. The gophers probably lost half their fan support by swapping FCS and D2 schools for Big Ten schools. Geography and history matter a ton. Part of the reason NDSU gets the recruits they do is because of the FCS playoff format and the opportunity to win a championship... there are plenty of other good schools that are both FBS and can compete for a lower end bowl game. Why would fans care that much about the regular season or post season when the players themselves would rather not play then risk getting hurt? FBS bowl games are meaningless now that there is a FBS championship. Enjoy having a meaningful post season once every ten years, if you're lucky. Bison fandom and traditions are built off of trips to frisco and championship success, and that all goes away if fans have only a couple of weeks to plan for a trip to the Idaho Potato Bowl. In regard to scheduling complaints they have now, NDSU could choose to schedule better home games, but they would rather play Drake then schedule a home and home with better programs. Put Jackson State on blast and tell me Deion would publicly back down from scheduling that.
  24. Has it been known that Lindenwood was one of the schools that completed an NHL feasability study? If not, they were one of the schools that did it, according to Collegiate Consulting. " Collegiate Consulting completed Lindenwood’s Hockey Feasibility Study (with support from the St. Louis Blues) along with studies for Oakland University (Detroit Red Wings), University of Illinois (Chicago Black Hawks) and two other institutions.  In addition, Collegiate Consulting has completed 25 hockey projects, including Simon Fraser, Bemidji State, Utica, Alabama – Huntsville and Stonehill." I believe Tennessee State is doing (or did?) their feasability study with help from the Predators. I believe there were 5 feasability studies that were being conducted with support from the NHL. Is Tennessee State included as one of those 5 studies, or did Tennessee State announce their study after the original 5 already concluded? Edit: looks like they had already completed 5 in 2018, so Tennessee State probably wasn't one of the mystery schools that studied hockey. http://www.collegiateconsulting.com/news/collegiate-consulting-completes-five-nhl-funded-hockey-feasibility-studies
  25. Anyone think it would work for UND to host a hockey hall of fame game in Sioux Falls, vs Augastana, in a non "destination" game year? Would be good for Augie and college hockey in the area, they could probably sell a decent percentage of tickets locally, and Midco airs all of UND's hockey games down there already, so it would help to support and/or grow our fan base.
