They said on a podcast that some people will rotate in. Like when certain alumni are in town, etc. In addition to whoever is usually there.

Looks like those new MN stations are all owned by De La Hunt Media. I've never heard of that company, but their 870 Park Rapids station seams to have a pretty large daytime coverage area. That said, nothing has officially been announced, so that could be an error on UND's website for all I know.
-
The formatting for Park Rapids and below is jacked up, so I am guessing they are working on that web page like right now and it will be announced shortly.

My comment stands and I don't feel the need to move the goal posts.

They get FCOA which is more isn't it? Not saying I'm not in favor of hockey and other sports at UND getting involved with NIL though. In regard to hockey, the players could promote the Engelstad Foundation...

I heard a football coach or chaves or undfb360 say in an interview that there is no limit to the number of players on a travel roster for this game.
-
And then he wonders why interest in NDSU football is down. Maybe bashing the FCS for two years straight was part of the reason. He's basically making the "JV football" argument that hockey fans make when they compare college hockey to fcs football. Just stupid.

Give me a break. Most schools are losing millions on athletics.

2022-23 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

Good point. One positive is that I could see it helping with student attendance. -
FYI, attendance is not only important because of home field advantage and ticket revenue, but with better attendance, UND also gets a larger cut of concessions profit. 5.3.6. Share of Concessions Revenue. (1) The Commission will pay to UND a percentage of the Net Profit from Concessions from each Home Game, which percentage is dependent on the scanned number of tickets for such Home Game. The percentage of the Net Profit from Concessions is as follows: (a) 10% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is equal to 8,499 or less (b) 15% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is at least 8,500 but less than 9,501; (c) 20% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is at least 9,501 but less than 10,501; (d) 25% for each Home Game where the number of tickets scanned for attendance is 10,501 or more.

This is from the usage agreement between UND and the Alerus Center: It seems to me that UND could allow alcohol sales in the student section. Does the NCAA have a rule regarding this, or is this a UND thing only? Let the 21 year olds drink so they don't have to leave the football game in order to pre game! That is how you keep some of the student at the game until the end.
-
I agree except the overall avg will probably be impacted by the Abaline Christian game, which takes place the same day UND plays ASU in Vegas. Curious what attendance will be for that game. If UND has a good showing against Nebraska, I'll be disappointed if the UNI game doesn't sell out.

Meh, wouldn't be what I'd do, but that wouldn't be the worst possible outcome. Many upsides to adding both of those programs. I'm somewhat of a closet bgsu fan as well... great old school barn.. they just need to finish off the one end like Michigan Tech, and it would be a top ten venue imo. Kinda looks like the old ralph.

This is great. I'm still annoyed by how the Alumni Association and the athletic department is going about fundraising for phase two. I am starting to doubt that they will ever truly have a public fundraising phase. Everyone knows about phase two so why isn't there a webpage to promote the project and ask for donations, like pretty much every single other schools that successfully fundraise does? Pretty sure they have been "close" to completing the fundraising for phase two for a couple years. "We are very close to completing the fundraising for Phase 2," said DeAnna Carlson Zink, CEO of the UND Alumni Association & Foundation. "Wouldn't it be great if we could have another groundbreaking celebration in the spring and can open the Pollard Athletic Center addition at the same time the Memorial Village opens in 2024?"

Below average arms don't, as an underclassman, complete 65% of their passes and rank 4th in the MVFC in passing yards per game. Tommy was 4th in passing yards per game while only a single receiver had over 400 receiving yards. Tommy had little receiving talent to work with last year, and any of the talent he did have was either injured or coming off a major injury - let's see what Tommy can do this year as an upper classman with what should be a better receiving corps.
-
Completely disagree. Tommy doesn't have any issues with handing the ball off or making a short completion for a first down.
-
You blaming Tommy for another quarterback not performing?
-
This. With a good O-line, UND would have done much better in the Red Zone. Tommy was able to get them there. Given that UND had 7 turnovers and 3 missed field goals in the red zone, it's surprising that UND scored as much as they did. Field goals stats are conf games only:
-
No problem. I hear Gfhockey has lots of experience handling money.
-
The publicity for SS wouldn't hurt either.
-
Would think that with a small nil fund keying in on specific positions would have the most impact.
