Pretty sure you're joking, but Hyslop has always been my preference, even though I've never seen a game there. It's basically a mini Duke arena.

Anyone think the athletic department will move some basketball games into the Ralph now that there will be more open dates? I like the idea of packing the Betty to the rafters, but I think it could help with recruiting (and attendance) if we could tell prospects that they will be playing some games there. I can't see there being enough demand in Grand Forks to fill all of the extra women's hockey slots with concerts. I'm not in favor of playing only one big game there - would rather just stay in the Betty, but is there any possibility of playing like 3-4+? Could potentially host a tournament there also, like the Sanford Pentagon does (I think).

Don't they not have a beat writer for the football team? Pretty sure Tom Miller covers the most football, but does he have the same amount of time to put into it as Brad does hockey? I think Tom's a columnist, right? Which is different from Brad's job as a beat writer? If that's not the case, I'd blame Tom for being bad at his job.

I gave them my credit card info yesterday. Haven't seen anything yet, but I called just before I saw your post and they told me it went through. Gave me the last for numbers on the card as well. Hope they don't still have the whole thing. FYI, I also called Scheels Arena, and they said that Duluth will be bringing their own ticket people and they will have a separate table with the tickets. Scheels told me, today, that the Duluth ticket booth would be open around 9:00 AM on Friday, and Duluth told me, yesterday, that the booth wouldn't be open until 1:00. Does anyone know the correct info?

That's a good question. It is important to note that the football team should be more visible than basketball, simply because there are so many players and staff on the roster. Take a look at the football players at the basketball games. Basketball doesn't have enough participants to make an equivalent impact, as a whole, when it comes to supporting other teams.

Same here. I will wear the Sioux jersey over the current replica jerseys, but the Sioux Forever chant is somewhat embarrassing, IMO. We aren't the Sioux anymore, as much as I hate to say it.
