  1. I agree with this strategy. Just want to buy tickets now so nobody can back out, though. Since this is the case, though, I really think tickets near the 50 should be priced higher. The demand is there for those tickets, and not so much the others. I think it would be healthy for season ticket holders to be a little more spread out along the sideline, and UND needs the ticket revenue. I just don't see a reason for one price for differing quality of seats. There is a lack of demand for end seating, and $30 is pretty high for the worst seats in the building for a middle of the road (for now) FCS team. This is more expensive than non-conference UND hockey games last season. source
  2. I think there is a ticket pricing issue with UND football. I have a group of friends that wants to go up to UND for a hockey game this year. I convinced them to do the Bemidji game, so we can go to the Montana football game that afternoon. They aren't huge UND football fans. I could maybe drag one or two of them up to a game if there wasn't hockey being played. Logging on to the ticketmaster website and looking at the ticket situation was kind of disappointing. The only sections with 8 seats together are at the 20's and out, but these are priced the same as seats at the 50 yard line. It would be nice to be able to purchase cheaper seats, to keep anyone from wanting to back out on their commitment to go to the football game. After fees, we are looking at $40 a ticket for some of the worst seats in the builiding. UND traditionally has a very difficult time filling the end sections, specifically, sections 209, 210, 218, and 201. Why doesn't UND lower the price on these seats and raise the prices at or near the 50? I think attendance could go up, and UND could increase ticket revenue. Anyone have any idea why the prices are all the same? I know champions club fees are required season tickets - I'm talking single game tickets.

    2018 Season

Morrison is now 260 on UND's website. Fall media day guide has him at 250. Hopefully 260 is correct.

    2018 Season

He's just butthurt that the season hasn't started yet. I'm sure we will all join him if this season doesn't go well. You've read the message boards after a loss... I think it's annoying that he is posting his negativity everywhere, but UND ended the season last year with 3 wins - what do you expect? What's more annoying is reading a negative post by him, moving on, but moving on only to read page after page about people complaining about the annoying person, rather than the 2018 football season. At least he stays on Topic.

All I know is that we have a mid season BYE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! About damn time!
  6. Would be nice if a school without D1 hockey could build this. #downgrade
  7. William and Mary new logo.... https://spark.adobe.com/page/RhcLGX2Bcu8Dg/
  8. Sounds uncreative. Mix in some commercial and do a university village thing there. Isnt that a large chunk of land?
  9. I think most people who complain about a guy like Rudolph don't wan't to coach themselves. They want someone who his more qualified. You don't need to know a lot about football to figure out that Rudolph isn't great at his job.
  10. I think you're joking, but his stats were good. Case completed 200 of 293 passes (68.3 percent) for 3,249 yards, 35 touchdowns and four interceptions, and added a pair of rushing touchdowns. His average of 324.9 passing yards per game broke a 11-man state record. https://www.omaha.com/neprepzone/recruiting/football/recruiting-report-lincoln-high-qb-cedric-case-hoping-offseason-work/article_0a5d8b09-0c99-50ff-9843-3f89865014cb.html
  11. QB. Not possible. Try again.
  12. I'd argue that Oliveira already did that last year. It would be interesting to know what the median runs for each would be. Not sure if there is anywhere that we can look it up, but I wouldn't doubt that Oliveira would have a better number there. Also curious if there is any way to look up number of attempts that ended in a loss of yards. RUSHING GP-GS Att Gain Loss Net Avg TD Long Avg/G John Santiago 11-11 119 759 42 717 6.0 5 81 65.2 Brady Oliveira 11-0 111 651 14 637 5.7 3 57 57.9 James Johannesson 11-0 41 255 7 248 6.0 4 56 22.5
  13. Can't recommend watchbigsky.com enough. It's the same broadcast as the pluto app, but is way smoother for some reason.
  14. Ketteringham - Finally a QB with the skill set of an FCS QB McKinney - Finally a QB with arm strength that can get him the ball. Another year in the system, and hopefully more weight for Mckinney. If rudolph opens up the playbook that could help. Mason Bennett - Had my eye on him ever since he came in with Brady Oliviera from Winnipeg. I think he has some serious upside. Jake Rastas - Bigger Stronger James Johannesson I'd still say Santiago could have a breakout year. Despite receiving numerous accolades already in his career. I don't think he has played close to his potential. He has been limited by the playbook and Offensive Line. If there are improvements here, we could see much more consistent production out of him.

    2018 Season

There were also tons of people who wanted Rudolph fired after the 2016 season, when UND went 9-3 and made the playoffs. People don't want him gone simply because UND lost a lot of games last year. So he isn't a scapegoat. That 2016 team was 105 out of 122 teams in FCS in 3rd down conversion %. Looks to me like Rudolph got LUCKY to have a guy like Santiago that can break a huge run every once in a while, and in turn boost the yards/play stats. The offense has ZERO consistency.
  16. This. And I could see them developing quite the following in St. Paul. Think TCU. Could even play some football at the new soccer stadium down there.

    2018 Season

Who said that he would demand it? Two people CAN have a difficult conversation without becoming adversarial. However, Chaves can, and should, make it clear that if Bubba is unwilling to make needed changes (assuming the offense doesn't improve), he may not be the right man for the job. Should Chaves just sit on his hands if we have another season where we do not reach our potential offensively? I would think that both he and Bubba have higher standards than that. Coaching is a results driven career. Period.

    2018 Season

Exactly. Chaves is the boss, and he is used to watching competent offensive coordinators. And he cares about football.
  19. At least according to @SIOUXFAN97, he already did! On his linkedin page, it says he worked on NCAA recruiting for Euro Elite Basketball. Guessing he has quite a few connections over there. Best chance we will have at finding under the radar big-guy talent, imo.
