  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUqrumloMBg&feature=relmfu Hopefull we can try and land this kid. He looks like just what we need. Kinda reminds me a little of Mitchell, except a little bulkier, don't you think?
  2. Its still early, but Sac State getting a little push from UNC. Its 14-10 Sac State with 5:49 left in the 1st half
  3. I think this might answer your question So with Hooker on board, we would have 2 left to offer.
  4. Crossing my fingers on this pick UND 31 San Diego State 27 Run game gets going again, defense improves its tacking woes from last week, and Hendrickson handles his business.
  5. Portland State tries an onside kick to start the game against U Dub... didnt quite work out
  6. Will be venturing over in a little bit, I think this will be a very good early test. I am hoping for a couple of wins against these Montana schools to start off the Big Sky season on the right foot
  7. The hits keep coming for the Big East. The ACC conference for basketball, which was looking pretty amazing with Pitt and Syracuse joining, will now have another solid program in the Irish. Duke, UNC, NC State, Pitt, Syracuse, Notre Dame... wow. Looking forward to those Duke/Notre Dame games already. So in review, Notre Dame keeps football independent for now, ACC schools get 5 games with the Irish in football, which should help them gain a little more respecability (haven't been the greatest few years for the ACC), and an already strong basketball conference get stronger. So eveyone wins! Except for the Big East, and to a smaller extent the Big 10.
  8. UND once again raiding the Northwest Suburban Conference, according to the Basketball Hub on the Startribune site, he average around 25.7 ppg last year. He plays on the same Howard Pulley team as uber recruit Tyus Jones. A very big pick up and should be a great kid to watch.
  9. I will make a personal guarantee that you will see the Sack City sign making its rightful return to the UND Student Section sidelines against Cal Poly.
  10. To play the comparison game of attendance from last few years of the transition to this year 2008: 20,577 2009: 20.925 2010: 17.685 2011: 17,029 2012: 18,057 Final attendance for all those home games and averages 2008: 50,837 (5 games, 10,167 Avg) 2009: 42,696 (5 games, 8,539 Avg 2010: 40,771 (5 games, 8,154 Avg) 2011: 47,045 (6 games, 7,840 Avg) 2012: 18,057+ (9,029 avg) " 2 games out of 6 home games" I couldn't believe when doing this how bad this really got. The good news appears that for the next 3 home games, according to ticketmaster, looks to be very well attendend.
  11. My thoughts Positives I am glad that we got punched in the mouth right away when PSU scored a touchdown after we went 3 and out. I also like the fact we responded back right away. Special teams were huge for us and really made the difference of the game. Blocked Punt, Blocked FG, Blocked Extra Point. Zeb looked good, expect for the last FG try. Hendrickson... what can I say, he really answered the call. He won this game for us with his arm. His numbers could have been even better if it weren't for a few drops. Hope he keeps it up next week vs San Diego State. Hardin, wow he was an absolute beast and if he could have just extended his arms a little more he could have had 200+ receiving yards. Golladay: I can see why his shirt was lifted, he is the real deal. Negatives Too many penalties. I know a few of them were awful, but we need to get better Sloppy tackling. We cannot do that week after week, need to get better Miller: Didn't have it, credit PSU for shutting that down. Loved the direct snaps however. Overall, that was a very fun game. Crowd was a little better both noise wise and attendance wise, but still got some work left to do to really get it rocking. 2-0 feels nice and makes me feel a lot better in how we can really do in the Big Sky this year. Hopefully by the time Poly rolls around we will be 3-1 or 4-0. Can you imagine the buzz for that game if we are 4-0?
  12. If the morning was any indication, then most of those tickets will be gone today. Still will be a few walkups tomorrow as well at the Alerus. (As usual) Im still confident that the student section will be full (or close to it), attendance around 10,000, and make life a living you know what for PSU.
  13. I can confirm that long line this morning being in the Union. About 50 students got tickets in the half-hour I was there. About 1100 left according to the NoDak Nation sign
  14. They have been doing that since when I first came here as a Freshman. That was Fall 2009. It could be longer, I am not sure. I have a student ticket guide in front of me and it says this: UND students receive FREE tickets to regular season home games for these sports (FB, VB, MBB, WBB, W Hockey). Tickets are 1st come, 1st serve st and are limited to the size of the student section per sport. Students must present a valid UND student U Card to receive their ticket. Students are encouraged to pick up tickets in advance at the Chester Fritz Auditorium, Ralph Engelstad Arena Box Office, or the Student Ticket office at Memorial Union. Tickets are available starting at noon, the week prior to the game. Once the free allotment is picked up, students can purchase tickets for $5 each.
  15. In my 3 years here as a current student (now my 4th), I have had zero problem with them using my student fees to take the tickets to all but men hockey free. I like that they do that because I can go to whatever event I want to and can have a good time (which I do btw). If they charged for all tickets then there would have been no way for me to do all those events. Season hockey tickets this year are $140 both nights, $70 Friday night, $70 Saturday Night. They changed up the seating to first come first serve For Saturday: I expect a very good game with UND coming up on top 31-21. The student section being just as packed as Thursday night and just as loud and the attendance to be around 10,000.
  16. Got the Texas State radio going for the second game. Set 1: TX ST 25-17 Set 2: UND 25-13 Set 3: UND 25-15 Set 4: UND 25-18 That's a good win for the girls and a nice bounce back after playing USC very tough.
  17. And for some of us free parking passes are given out with the tickets as well. Need to pick one of thoes up next week when they are in. Looking forward to it, I have been looking forward to this season for 3 years. The first chance to compete for the whole ball of wax
  18. Looks like we played them tougher in the second set, but fell short 25-23
  19. I don't know if this would make anyone feel better about student attendence, but I went down to the ticket office in the union and asked how ticket sales were going. She said with a smile "pretty good". I couldn't really ask any specifics on how good cause I had a time crunch. Hopefully she isn't BSing me, cause I take that as a really good sign being that the tickets only went on sale on Wednesday and only really have been on sale for 2 days
  20. Only 8 more days until the season starts. I was able to get my student ticket today for Mines, can't wait to make some noise.
  21. Over or Under 6th place finish in the Big Sky Over or Under Team averages 70 ppg Over or Under 1 Big Sky Tournament Win
  22. A lot of this will come down to, like with football, the students showing up to the games. If they come, then we can definitely get to 2500. If not, then expect a slight bump to aroud 2000. I wonder if they would do a game in the Ralph this year sometime with a big sky opponent. Of course Im thinking of the glass half full, nothing wrong with that of course
  23. This feels real good to finally have this letter. Now, lets show the Big Sky what we are made of and start this new chapter of UND athletics off with a bang
  24. I have taken 121 and currently taking 122. The two teachers I have for the classes were actually good. They were actually consistent with what they taught in lecture to what was on the tests. If you want bad, go to the building next door.
