  1. Most part I'll agree with that, I like the pressure they are getting. They got a couple sacks already
  2. we got burned... 13-7 EWU
  3. there we go... big sack!
  4. EWU marches right back and scores. But... blocked the PAT 7-6 UND
  5. TOUCHDOWN!!! SUTTON! Dream start right there
  6. Video up... here we go!
  7. UNC has thrown 4 picks, but Montana is only up 10 Mont 17 UNC 7 11:04 3rd Down to the wire in SUU Sac St 27 SUU 22 6:40 4th
  8. That was overall, a much improved performance by the women. Good job getting the first win of the year. 4-1
  9. Call me crazy Call me a homer Call me unrealistic UND 37 EWU 31 I don't know what it is today, but I just have a feeling that we will pull the upset. Hardin comes back strong in this game, and Golliday has his little breakout party. Run game gets going again with Sutton and Miller running strong. Hendrickson and Hanson both perform well. Our Defense will still give up a few big plays, but will keep making some progress and frustrate that freshman QB.
  10. That was frustrating... spent wayyyy too much time in the penalty box. Seems like the Mankato curse is still among us
  11. My favorite moments since my first undergrad year in 2009. Oct 16th, 2009: My first hockey game as an undergrad was against the hated Gophers, it justified going through that horrible campout as the place was just nuts. It made me understand how big hockey was up here. Beating them 4-0 for my first game will always be a great memory. Feb 19-20th, 2010: The absolute smackdown we layed on UMD. Sitting right on Ice Row by the Sioux penalty box as Hextell sprinted out after serving his penalty, getting the puck and on a breakaway buried it past Reiter. Dec 4th, 2010: The business suits at home... against St. Cloud and the 5 goal first period. I was just going nuts in upper bowl. Feb 27th, 2011: Remembering the Sunday Matinee and watching Frattin just embarrass Bakala and clinching a share of the cup that night Jan 13th, 2012: Friday Night, Gophers. Watching Mac just throw a goal from 40 feet that proved to be the difference. Overall, just the hours and hours I wasted standing in line in all sorts of conditions with all the other students just waiting to get inside. Can't wait to do it all again this year.
  12. I'll be taking the short walk to the REA tonight to watch the women play. The biggest thing I will be looking at is who will be between the pipes. I have a feeling that Amsley-Benzie will be the real deal and finally give UND the much needed consistency that they need at goalie, which could mean the different between another 1 and done run and a potential national title.
  13. I am think around that range as well. I think with the amount of time these guys have played together already plus some key JUCO will blend together to finish in the 4-6 range. Im thinking 5 to hedge my bets, but I'll look at what people have before ranking 1-11
  14. I think Montana will be the team to beat, however they have had a few blows this offseason in which Cherry broke his foot, out 10-12 weeks. (potentially could take a redshirt) and having their 7' JUCO transfer declared inelgible (think they are trying 1 last time to get him eligible). Weber will still be strong and UNC will be tough.
  15. Figured this game would need a thread on its own. After the winding weekend road trip to EWU and PSU, UND has a quick turnaround to play arch rival NDSU in a non-conference tilt in Fargo. NDSU, like us, is in a little bit of a flux right now. They are currently 5-11 (2-4 in Summit), which will change after playing USD and UMKC on back to back nights this weekend (expecting a split at the least). While they don't have J-Lo at setter anymore (graduated), they still have a solid senior core, starting with Brynn Joki and Megan Lambertson. (she missed last years game when he sprained her ankle on the opening serve). Like UND, once they figure things out, they will be a team that the rest of the Summit will not want to mess with. UND is looking for their 1st win in Fargo since the Ford Administration. NDSU is looking to hold serve at home in what looks to be a packed house. You can pretty much throw the record books out on this one, its going to be a hotly contested matchup. 1 other note, with all of the nonsense being spilt between Bisonville and here, I think everyone on both sides would appreciate that we just talk about the volleyball game on this thread and not bring any of the other crap from the other threads on here. I'll take my chances in starting this thread that most will comply. Looking forward to this one, I'll be personally traveling down I-29 to watch these two teams play.
  16. Attendance after 3 games (compared to other years in transition) 2012: 27,588 2011: 23,436 2010: 27,900 2009: 28,732 Averages after 3 games 2012: 9,196 2011: 7,812 2010: 9,300 2009: 9,577
  17. And I will go out on a even further limb than you two and say the last three letters will end in -son.
  18. Current standings (Big Sky record) PSU (6-0) 10-7 UNC (5-1) 12-3 ISU (5-1) 11-4 UNA (4-2) 12-3 Mont St (4-2) 10-4 UND (3-3) 7-9 SUU (3-3) 7-10 Weber (1-5) 7-10 Sac St (1-5) 5-10 Montana (1-5) 3-12 EWU (0-6) 0-17
  19. Looks like a news conference will be set up at 7:30 per the forum http://www.inforum.com/event/article/id/376144/
  20. We should have RJ for this game correct?
  21. You would think Montana would be under 10,000?
  22. first of many preseason previews. Picks UND 4th http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/ncaab-the-dagger/big-sky-preview-montana-remains-preseason-favorite-despite-130032975--ncaab.html Included is what could be a MAJOR gamechanger in the Big Sky
