  1. I could really care less which school can party better. UND students go to NDSU to party, and vise versa To use a quote from The Rock "IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO PARTIES BETTER!!!!" Anyways, hopefully we can find a way to keep this kid in the fold. He looks like a steal
  2. Not going to lie, that is a really good schedule. If I was predicting our Bracketbuster game, I would think somehow, we get USD.
  3. We can start putting up some of the confirmed games for the 2012-2013 season for the ladies Thurs Jan 10 @ Montana* Sat Jan 12 @ Montana State* Thurs Feb 7 Montana State* Sat Feb 9 Montana* Thurs Feb 21 Northern Colorado* Sat Feb 28 Portland State* @ NDSU Last Weekend of Nov?

  5. Why do I smell a certain Big Ten School that might be trying to do this... *Cough BB *Cough
  6. When Webb was doing his drills, he was shooting free throws in-between drills.
  7. Saw Schuler, Huff, Anderson, Antwi, Traylor, and Webb at the Wellness Center tonight. It looked like they had been there for a few hours. Anderson left when I got there, Schuler and Huff were goofing around a little, trying to throw a few down. Saw Traylor shoot around a little and he looks like he has some pretty decent range (Saw him connect on a few 3's) Webb was working out pretty hard with a couple of people. His shot looks extremely good. Antwi also shot around a little while I was there and he was consistenly connecting from mid-range. I can feel the excitement already!!!! These guys look like they are going to take a major step forward this year
  8. Over or Under Our Best 3% Shooter is at 40% (Minimum 50 attempts) Over or Under Webb 50 Steals Over or Under 1 game played in either REA or Alerus this season Over or Under Brekke 8.0 RPG Over or Under 3 players average more than 10 ppg Over or Under Average Season attendence 1800
  9. Im going to go over on this one. Im going to go slighty over on this one, the one 2 years ago had 10,700 show up. I would expect the same crowd. Im going under, however I expect a major improvement from our 63% we shot as a team last year. Thinking around 68, 69% For the best I will go under, I would expect our best to be around 84, 85%. However I except at least 2 people to shoot 80% For the worst, I will go under as well.
  10. Over, I think we have a great shot to get into the Big Sky tourney year 1 Over on this one. I think we find a way to sell out against both Montana and Montana State and get close with Weber
  11. Much like the buy or sell football forum, lets do one for basketball. Except we are going to do over or under (and push as be used as well) Lets get started with a couple OVER OR UNDER Huff 15.5 ppg OVER OR UNDER .500 on the Road in the Big Sky
  12. Last week I saw Huff walking around near Twamley, seen Anderson running around campus staying in shape, and I pretty much see Brekke any time I head out to Valley Golf Course. (Of course he doesn't have to go far to practice given he is from EGF) The schedule looks really, really good. It kinda sucks that the Northern Colorado game fell during semester break (I really would have liked to see that one). I hope we get a good draw for our Bracketbuster game this year as well. Having the NDSU game land on a Sunday is pretty big that it will be after the DU series so more students can be available to go down to Fargo. Definitely would be a nice time before having to deal with finals
  13. Quickly pulling up the lyrics of the 4 schools songs we have. Stand Up and Cheer, Alma Mater, and Its For You, do not have the Sioux name. Those ones are safe. Obviously Fight On Sioux would more than likely not be played again. Of course, that wont stop the students from still saying D-A-K O-T-A DAKOTA DAKOTA GOOOOO SIOUX! after the end of stand up and cheer
  14. Let's hope this years homecoming game has a little better outcome than the last two. I hate losing on homecoming week.....

  17. Lets see Football, MBB and both hockey coaches taken care of with extensions There was one more extension taken care and that one is being announced tomorrow. Safe to assume it would be Hardee?
  18. Women's Schedules are coming out in the WHCA. Here is what I got so far Fri Oct 5 MSU-Mankato 7:07 Sat Oct 6 MSU-Mankato 4:07 Fri Oct 12 @ OSU 6:07 Sat Oct 13 @ OSU 3:07 Fri Oct 19 SCSU 7:07 Sat Oct 20 SCSU 7:07 Sat Oct 27 Minnesota 2:07 Sun Oct 28 Minnesota 2:07 Sat Nov 17 @ Bemidji State 2:07 Sun Nov 18 @ Bemidji State 2:07 Sat Nov 23 UMD 7:07 Sun Nov 24 UMD 7:07 Fri Jan 11 @ Minnesota 6:07 Sat Jan 12 @ Minnesota 4:07 Fri Jan 25 @ SCSU 7:07 Sat Jan 26 @ SCSU 2:07 Fri Feb 1 @ MSU-Mankato 7:07 Sat Feb 2 @ MSU-Mankato 3:07 Fri Feb 8 Bemidji State 7:07 Sat Feb 9 Bemidji State 7:07 Fri Feb 15 OSU 7:07 Sat Feb 16 OSU 7:07 Fri Feb 22 @ UMD 7:07 Sat Feb 23 @ UMD 4:07 All but Wisconsin has put out their WCHA schedule.
  19. Buy Or Sell Student Attendance improves and students actually stay for the whole game Buy Or Sell 1 School record being broken (I am being very non-specific so it could be team, individual, attendence, etc...)
  20. North Dakota Invitational: UW Green Bay, USD, SFA Fri Aug 31: South Dakota Sat Sept 1: Green Bay Sat Sept 1: SFA Thurs Sept 13 Montana State* Sat Sept 15 Montana* Thurs Sept 20 @ Weber State* Sat Sept 22 @ Idaho State* Sat Sept 29 Sacramento State* Mon Oct 1 Northern Colorado* Thurs Oct 4 @ Eastern Washington* Sat Oct 6 @ Portland State* Tues Oct 9 @ NDSU Thurs Oct 11 SUU* Sat Oct 13 Northern Arizona* Fri Oct 19 @ Montana* Sat Oct 20 @ Montana State* Thurs Oct 25 Idaho State* Sat Oct 27 Weber State* Thurs Nov 1 @ Sacramento State* Mon Nov 5 @ Northern Colorado* Thurs Nov 8 Portland State* Sat Nov 10 Eastern Washington* Thurs Nov 15 @ Northern Arizona* Sat Nov 17 @ SUU* Big Sky Conference schedule is now complete!!! Now searching for those few non-conference games.
  21. I would think there would be a game or two inbetween those two dates. Perhaps a tournament somewhere. Last year, they had 29 regular season games in the Great West. Now with 20 Big Sky conference games this year, and the 4 non-conference games already in, there would more than likely be 3-6 more games left.
  22. With the Midco TV schedule coming out today, we can confim a few dates for b-ball games. Wed Nov 14th: Crown College (EXHIBITION) Wed Dec 5th: UMKC Thurs Jan 17th: Eastern Washington* Thurs Feb 14th: Sacramento State* Sat Feb 16th: Northern Arizona*
  23. Not only was the MidCo deal exciting, looking at the TV schedule we can add two games that will finish our Big Sky home schedule. North Dakota Invitational: UW Green Bay, USD, SFA Fri Aug 31: South Dakota Sat Sept 1: Green Bay Sat Sept 1: SFA Thurs Sept 13 Montana State* Sat Sept 15 Montana* Thurs Sept 20 @ Weber State* Sat Sept 22 @ Idaho State* Sat Sept 29 Sacramento State* Mon Oct 1 Northern Colorado* Thurs Oct 4 @ Eastern Washington* Sat Oct 6 @ Portland State* Tues Oct 9 @ NDSU Thurs Oct 11 SUU* Sat Oct 13 Northern Arizona* Fri Oct 19 @ Montana* Sat Oct 20 @ Montana State* Thurs Oct 25 Idaho State* Sat Oct 27 Weber State* Thurs Nov 1 @ Sacramento State* Thurs Nov 8 Portland State* Sat Nov 10 Eastern Washington* Thurs Nov 15 @ Northern Arizona* Sat Nov 17 @ SUU* I also assumed the @ Portland State game to be on the 6th. So if that holds, all we are missing is @ UNC.
