Maybe I'm throwing in the towel for next year already, but I don't see them being a very good team next year. With the number of Juniors to be Seniors on this team I wouldn't mind a few more transferring. i would like to see some younger players getting more playing time next year, make them better in future years.
-
No Big Deal. If any of the Big Ten teams win we will hear how great the Big Ten is for the next year. If it makes you fill better point out 8>2. I guess I just Hate the Big Ten more than I hate Duluth. The reason UND fans hate Duluth is because when they take cheap shots there is nothing we can do about it. Our PP sucks, and we are no longer a tough team. Either make they pay for it with PP goal or kick their ass. If we get in a special teams battle with Duluth we will lose every time.

I guess I don't see them as a passionate rival. They are more like a little brother. When competing head to head I want to beat them, but I hope they beat they beat everyone else.

4-Michigan- 3-OSU-Whole THE thing is annoying 2-Notre Dame-Boring Hockey, but one of best teams all year. They Deserve it. 1-UMD-NCHC team, only 1 title.
-
Wow. I meant Former conference mate. Sure hope Tech is not a future conference mate. Mankato Maybe.
-
16. Michigan--can't get to 10 ahead of us 15. Denver--can't have Denver get to 9 ahead of us 13-14. Penn State & Ohio St-Hate Big 10 Hockey 12. Notre Dame--Hate Big 10 Hockey, but they are most deserving of Big Ten Teams 9-11. Providence, Northeastern, BU-hate Hockey East 6-8. Cornell, Princeton, Clarkson ECHC, Meh 5. Michigan Tech--future conference mate, want WCHA to succeed. I know the grandpa of one of the players. 4. Air Force--USA, USA 3. Minnesota St.-Mankato--future conference mate, want WCHA to succeed. 2. UMD--NCHC Team. No problem with Style of Play, UND was this type of team not that long ago. 1. SCSU--NCHC Team. Never won a title. Best team this year. They deserve it. Besides will drive Mn Fan's Crazy.

LOL. That is my brother in-law. Lives out in CO. I remember watching the regional and thinking they are focusing on him a lot.

Far too early, but what the hell...Bracketology
Big Green replied to petey23's topic in Men's Hockey
Sure you might have a team with an Arena with seating of around 2K, but there a several arenas much bigger that will offset that. Looking at last year as an example. Average Attendance per Regional was 4870. If you take the average capacity of the #1 seeds that made the tournament it is 6472. That is with Harvard that only have capacity of 2776. I'd have to believe most years total attendance is going to be greater having #1 seeds host. Besides the fact they are not paying travel expenses for the #1 seed to travel. -

University of North Dakota where every game is a home game. #1 Seeds should be hosting Regional s, hopefully UND beats a higher seed in the first round and helps put a end to the "Neutral site" Regional s -
At what point is it cheaper to Charter a plane than purchase X amount of Tickets. Hockey team charters a plane everywhere they fly. BB teams with players and coaches is about the same size as a hockey team. I call BS if the Women's team can't wait for the Men's game to be done before leaving on a Bus. If going back to Hotel, the bus makes 2 trips. If leaving they can wait an extra 2 hours.
-
If you want to take in a road game, much easier to justify seeing 2 games rather then 1. Not sure how it works with travel partners, but I could see catching 2 games at SDSU, than 2 day's later 2 at USD. I've heard some people complain that there is basketball every Thurs and Saturday, you don't get a break if you want to make every game. IMO Basketball games go to quick, If you are going to go I'd rather stay for 2.

Am I the only person that does not have a problem with this? Not like she throw the medal or refused it, she simply took it off. I'm sure the see it as losing the Gold rather than winning Silver. With really only 2 teams the have a chance to win gold. You are either the winner or the loser.

With Saturday nights game on FCS, anyway to watch having Midco Cable. (and not NCHC.TV). I know FCS is no longer on the sports package. Any other options? Fox Sports Go?

Carson Wentz taking Philly err Indy err DC by storm
Big Green replied to SiouxVolley's topic in Non-collegiate sports
I far as I could tell up until this point he had kept quiet on the whole thing. Now that he is blaming the victims, he is part of the problem. I can now say the guy that wrote the editorial about losing respect for Wentz is correct. -
new Postion? What Position is he moving to?
-
Article states only 3 QB's on the Roster. Did we someone leave are move to another postion?

Vikes would need to win out and Philly loose 2 of 3. Very unlikly. With Min losing to Carolina and Philly beating Carolina, they now own the tie breaker. Hopfully Philly loses in the 2nd round and Min takes care of business. They MIn would host the NFC playoff game. -
The old Ralph had more than enough seating for most hockey games. Didn't stop Ralph from building a arena twice the size. I would hope a nicer facility would increase attendance as will as get better recruits.
-
Are you seriously comparing the Ralph and the Betty? I don't have the time to go over all the reason to like the Ralph more, but here are 3 off the top of my head 1. Ralph has a concourse. Everyone doesn't need to filter toward the court. 2. Ralph has concession stands instead of pop-out stands behind temporary bleachers 3. You get the feeling you are at an event when you walk into the Ralph.
-
Fair point on the 2 big Screens. Nice recent addition. The Bar and Leather Seats do nothing for me.
-
lame is a D1 school playing in a high school arena.
-
No chance. The area behind the bleachers have courts behind them used for practice and camps.
-
I crowd will also be a smaller with Hockey on TV. Many people including me flipping between Hockey and BB on TV at home. I'll be at the Women's game however. Would be nice to play all home game in the Ralph. Should be able block section's off and use curtains to create a better atmosphere.

James Madison didn't wait for NDSU to slip to pass them. I don't get why they need to slip for UND to become the better team.
