We have around 15 high school recruits already with more to come. Go look at your own team's history and you'll see bohl brought in transfers too, especially early on when trying to build up a talent base.
Yes. An ndsu transfer would likely be a player not good enough for ndsu. A uab transfer is a player talented enough for a low level fbs roster spot whose team was disbanded.
I thought mollberg was just beginning to show what he was capable of in that Montana game. If he can build on that and be consistent he could turn out to be very good.
I couldn't care less if the big man is able to shoot 3's. I want a big who can overpower people down low, for some reason Jones never seems to get those though. Seeing the shorter/stronger bigs at ndsu should've opened up Jones' eyes regarding how weak our posts are. All those boys need to hit the weights and get on a meat & potatoes diet.

Well at least UND wasn't the only one to receive these applications.
You seem to have a low opinion of North Dakota and UND, perhaps you should leave. I struggle to imagine how the basketball meccas of Fargo, Greeley, Brookings, and Missoula have had such success in the past decade.
I can agree with most all of this. I really wish the players would develop more once they get to UND though. The talent/athletic ability is great, but without fundamentals it's all for naught.
Nodakhoops and hoopster don't expect UND to do anything in a national tourney. Almost getting in the tourney is the best any team from the state of North Dakota can expect to do. Winning a game in the tourney would be impossible.
I agree with hoopster. We need to lower our standards, we're still a DII school after all. It's amazing that UND, with a student enrollment of 800 and an annual budget of a nickel, can stay within 20 of anybody.
Hinojosa is no slouch either. I've been quite happy with most of the FBS transfers, JUCOs seem to have been more misses than hits though. (EDIT: I guess technically Hinojosa was kind of both an FBS and a JUCO transfer, regardless, he's been a welcome addition to the team)
Ndsu isn't at the gopher's level in any sport (there's a gulf between the BIG and the summit in bball). I don't think they really view them as an opponent/rival like we do.
