Well, I suppose when you are the trailblazer of as far as Division All-Sports, you will be right about some things, and wrong about others. UND fans could gauge these things differently than NDSU fans were able to do at the time.
I have a poster from that game....back in like '03. A team starting their transition marked it as their first D-I game....I don't know if anyone was claiming Valpo was a tough team or anything at the time but if so, they were wrong.
WBB and VB...not optimistic Not like I go to their games anyway....only been to like 3 volleyball matches in 3 seasons of living here. Would be nice to see them win though.
UND is certainly doing better in the sports I'd like to see NDSU doing better in. Volleyball and basketball.
disagree on the players...if a song/video gets the fans excited and making noise and what not, that should probably be enough. Heck, the players can probably barely hear thunderstruck in the dome, but they can sure hear the fans.
If the song is about NDSU football players getting in trouble, then it is not really valid to include "steroid users" in the song considering I can't recall any being busted.
I have a Notre Dame shirt that is green with "Notre Dame" written in cursive with white letters. Realized I can't wear it around campus because without looking at it hard, people around here will associate it with UND. Anywhere else...Notre Dame.
I dont know that they are particularly great seats. Probably solid though....not like it is a big enough stadium to have awful seats.
To each their own.
It'll be tough. Bought 2 season tickets...plus 4 extra for the Bison game which was priced at double the other games. So thats an extra $160 for the Bison game alone...if you take the Bison tickets out of the equation because those would have been purchased anyway, then he should be able to get a small profit.
Probably not 75, but pretty close. It was impressive
Notre Dame still has the best one.
Are you implying that the "Scream Yellow" campaign wasn't NDSU's best marketing ploy ever???!
/sarcasm
I cheer for the gophs in general as long as they aren't playing the Bison. I understand why you wouldn't feel the same.
Ho! A cheer for green and yellow.....up with yellow and the green....their the shades that deck our prairies....far and wide with glorious sheen.
Don't remind us.
