Yes, there is a lot of UND figures active on twitter today, all talking about the same thing. Is this the announcement that we have all been waiting for? One tweet also mentioned ACDC playing at the Al so to me this has to do with the new entrance that they have been working on. I just want it to be tomorrow night!!

I was wondering if anyone knew if the UND Sports show that is debuting tonight will be available for online viewing?

82 you are spot on. I was an Account Executive there from 08 - 10 and I sold that exact advertising. I cannot recall a campaign that was directly connected to UND Football. If I remember correctly sports did a racing page every Thursday during the season and we sold that space to the appropriate advertisers. Hockey of course has the special section every year and a lot of advertising goes in there, plus I think a page every week during the season that has the space. I haven't seen a hard copy since last year so things could have changed.

I highly doubt he would share it if was called out by the media. Probably give a canned answer such as "details cannot be releases until everything if finalized" or something along those lines. I am truly hoping that he knows far more about this than us.

If you are out of traditional media footprint you have two options: Big Sky TV can be accessed from the Big Sky website, or UNDInsider. I am going to test both streams to see if one is better than the other.

It would be really nice to see attendance over 10k, but that is probably asking a lot given the competition. I am more interested if first beating them by at least 40, but also seeing them play as a team. I want to see how they have developed since last year and be able to form a gut feeling about how the season will go. Hopefully the younger guys get the entire second half to play!

Agreed, white jersey / pants combo needs to stay for away games. I also think that the green jerseys used with the new black pants could look pretty cool. Considering all combinations I am still the biggest fan of the all black look for this year. New conference, new look.

Out here in Colorado I am pretty much stuck with online streaming, which I don't have a problem with if the quality is decent. Problem is that the quality has been inconsistent over the years. Yes, the busses leave from Wilkerson; a place where every freshman is at every day. I agree about your thoughts on the RA's as they should almost get some sort of a spiff for getting x amount of their floor to the game. The spiff could be free food at a restaurant or something of that nature. I would say cash but that has to be against some sort of rule.

I know myself and some others have been wondering if the San Diego State game will be televised or at least streamed online. I decided to send a quick email to their athletics department and here is what they said: Thanks for the e-mail. When the game was signed I remember reading that the payout for the game was $350,000. After travel expenses which are estimated between $100k - $125k it would make sense if the take home was $225k. Fact on the $350 and the rest falls in line. BTW this is really trivial. Dan you are one hell of a troll.

Not a fan of Sac State either, at least after their media's reaction to UND joining the conference; although looking forward to keeping the games with Poly going. Just for my selfishness I would want to have a Colorado team in this conference. When the new Hockey conference was formed I found myself thinking about the two teams that play FBS football on multiple levels. First, I thought it would be interesting to sign a 2 for 1 type of deal so we could get an FBS team into our house just one time; especially since they play Hockey the casual fan should relate to them. Second, with all of the conference realignments going on it is tough to assume that every single conference is safe in the long run, so creating some good relationships with those schools could go a long way in the end. I am not going to speculate but just thinking about that can get the imagination running. Some good food for thought, enjoy.

Begging for a game? That is laughable buddy because you clearly have not seen our future schedules because they are pretty busy. At this point I am ready to move on and maybe we can meet in the playoffs.
