Regardless of who we play, at this point I feel much more confident defending against the run versus the pass. That could change this year but the team has to prove it on the field.

Season ticket numbers are on the rise. This is from someone in the UND ticket office per my email request this morning as I was looking at some group pricing: Were up about 10% right now on the seasons but August is traditionally a great month for Football Season Ticket sales and we have a huge Marketing Campaign starting in a week so we’ll see where we end up. Our group tickets have really been selling well too. We have more group tickets reserved for this Montana game than the last two seasons combined, so it’s smart to get your tickets early for it. Should be a fun year in the Big Sky for not only football, but the other sports as well. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

All good burger recommendations. Grand forks would be complete if they got a Smash Burger or a Lark Burger. Those two places have some of the best chain / fast food burgers that I have had.

I also believe that they will be much better than people are giving them credit. They have a new strength coach that has been putting their guys through the ringer this summer and the overall morale of the players seems to be pretty high. This game is no longer a gimme.

At this point my only concearn is that the general public will pick a very stupid name, so as long as this is not left in the general publics hands I am happy.

This isw going to be interesting now that Idaho and NMSU got the official shaft from the MWC.

His decision to NOT go to NDSU has been finalized; he turned the offer down. From what I have gathered from multiple sources it is now between UND and Wisconsin. No matter what he is not going to NDSU so accept it and moooove on.

In the past I have been skeptical of the marketing efforts for football, but this is definitely a step in the right direction. Great to see these hype building type of spots!

If you are talking who are getting the reps when the dust settles at the end of the year then I buy for sure. I like the two new Safeties, and Butler being able to play has to be a plus. Isn't the other Brown supposed to be pretty good CB as well?

Buy or Sell: Marcus Hendrickson becomes a target / weapon at a position other than QB this year.

This may be very hard to pull off but how about going forward we totally ignore the troll posts from certain NDSU fans; we all know who they are. So whenever these trolls post we simply carry on the conversation and pretend that the post never existed. This will be very tough but it seems that the only way we can get rid of them is by treating them like 5 year olds.

I was reading through this thread yesterday morning and I thought this post was very interesting. It does make sense and seems to be well thought out. I was thinking to myself that this guy could be star. Some of the responses to this were interesting and "NoDak" definitely backed up his arguments well. Anyone know why he stopped posting here? I really enjoyed his insight.
