One of the guys we sit with at the races offered his opinion about the Fighting Sioux nickname. He's of native descent and said that his tribe (Standing Rock) didn't' give him a chance to vote on the issue. That being said. I am way over the nickname. It's not coming back. I have a nice mixture of new and old stuff. I've worn the new logo with the old logo. I do also like the set up of the FightingHawks.com website. The logo is all over the place. Very prevalent.

I went to most of the B.B. games during the second half of the season and men’s B.B. team didn’t sell out the Betty. The attendance was light. I am wondering if a poor record played into it. I think the games were very entertaining.

I heard a rumor from a friend that said a prominent UND alum offered UND 10 million for an endowment for women’s hockey and it was rejected by president Kennedy. Has anyone else heard this?

I think it's safe to assume, yes. They will not get into the NCHC or the WCHA without a new arena.

At a young age of 51, I have seen the improvement in their buns. I am kind of a food expert. I didn't get this body from eating Kale and Kelp.

At the south end Red Pepper, the kid working behind the counter said that the reason they went to the buns that are made in Dickenson is that the buns from Hugos were inconsistent. Meaning they were sending buns of all different sizes. Obviously, that's not good.
