Did anybody catch the commercial selling the Fight Sioux artwork print? If so, do you recall what the website address was?

I'm sure admins at UND and the Big Sky have already ran through this scenario and have had talks with the NCAA about it. If they're not worried about than neither am I. The sanctions were laid out in black and white in the settlement, I'm not a lawyer but I would think that they might be contractually obligated to honor the sanctions the way they were originally stipulated. It's nice to know that our friends over in Bisonville are concerned about our well being and are pulling for us

What's even funnier is that when I'm in Nashville I run into people all the time wearing Sioux gear. I noticed the same thing when in Las Vegas and Chicago. I have never once seen anybody wear NDSU apparel.

If I recall correctly, Mario got his a$$ handed to him in that scrum. Mario, seems like a genuinely nice guy, hard worker, and a good leader, but let's be honest, he's one of the weakest links on the team. If his last name wasn't Lamarioux he might not have lasted this long on the team let alone be made captain.

Is that $35 per friday and saturday ticket? Or $35 for both?

I also wonder how our current logo situation will play in the selection process. I applaud the supporters for trying to keep the name but their strategy leaves much to be desired. Given that the movement is being spearheaded by the Spirit Lake tribe they could have easily gone on various major media networks with claims of NCAA racism and disenfranchisement.

What's on the line for tonight's game in terms of the NCAA tournament? Obviously a win is prefered, but what happens if we lose or tie? Do we get bumped out?

That's ridiculous. They are representing the the wishes of the majority of the people of Spirit Lake. We can talk racial equality all day long, the point is that we would have allready moved away from this controversy if it wasn't for the direct actions of the Spirit Lake government which was elected by the people to represent the people.

What bothers me the most about these national media stories is that they always refer to petitioners as "nickname supporters" when they are in reality representing the official wishes of the Spirit Lake nation. The press makes it sound like there's a bunch of evil, racist white people breathing life into this controversy. I'm not saying I'm for or against the logo just that the media never accurately portrays the situation.

I hadn't heard about Boise and San Diego potentially staying put. Not sure why Boise would give up AQ status, unless they are concerned about housing their olympic sports in the event that the WAC folds.

I absolutely agree with you, they don't. However, they may not have a choice once the C-USA/ MWC Alliance poaches Utah St. and SJSU from the WAC. I believe that the Alliance is looking to add schools with viable media markets and if that's the case LA Tech will get passed over.

I think Benson is poach LA Tech, and a couple of Texas based teams from the WAC but will stop short of a full merger. Odds are FIU, UNT, and MTSU will end up in the C-USA/MWC Alliance.

Heard about this last night, very tragic. My thoughts and prayers are with their family and friends and everyone affected by this at NDSU.

Actually I referring to the fact that both UND and NDSU would make a decent payday by having each other on the schedule for multiple sports. It's a game many people in the state want to see and will pack the house for.

Because it makes both school's a decent payday.

Where was Spirit Lake when the NCAA first passed this policy? They could have easily have made it where UND needed only a "one tribe exception".
