This has the potential to be the biggest storm we have had since the Christmas storm in 2009. Do not play around with this, watch the forecasts and make your travel plans accordingly.
-
The stats don't tell the whole story. This team has a problem with discipline, cohesiveness and as we've seen the past couple of weeks, maintaining composure toward the end of games. Those are the biggest problems with this program and those fall on Jones and his staff.

A successful AD? Yeah. A gigantic, colossal, Grade A Certified toolbox? A definite YES. -

Yeah, that makes sense. -

Hope they make better decisions on players than they did last year. -
No problem, I should have been more clear.

Taylor isn't in charge there, though, he is an assistant AD. -
hoops44 doesn't care about winning, he is content with just having a team with a Division I classification.
-
Yes, you are correct. I think it is safe to say that Jones is auditioning to keep his job this season.

What? You didn't mention Coach K and Duke? You are slipping, son. -
So, what do you want? A medal? I am very happy that Bubba has been extended and I give Faison all the credit in the world for getting it done promptly. Now I think it is time to shut this thread down and focus on 2017.

Maybe you would like it if we scheduled all NAIA teams for non-conference? Then we would have a record that looks good, but isn't worth the paper it would be printed on. Just keep pushing for lowering expectations and mediocrity will follow. -
Easy there, I had not heard that (I am a little busy with stuff this afternoon). That is good news.
-
That wasn't the comment he was referring to!
-
And the next thing they'll tell us is that they could win the MAC! No one can predict what will happen next year, but I am excited that we are poised to be a part of the playoff conversation for years to come.
-
I know he interviewed with Montana State, but I don't know anyone who really believed he would leave, especially after getting UND to move up to FCS, which was on his wish list for several years.

ND High School Hockey 16-17

Oh, okay, I get it now. Spoiled brat behavior is by no means exclusive to GPR, but I have seen some of their players openly taunt the other team at the State Hockey Tournament, so that is why it sticks with me. Also, a lot of their fans are insufferable to be around, at least at the games. -
And here is where hoops44 chimes in and tells us we are rooting for the team to fail.

I don't get the obsession with the blonde playoff hair either, but that isn't want I was getting at. -

It seems like this question is being asked every year. And the answer is almost always not a good one for us. -

I have seen it firsthand. In person. Not second-hand from somebody else. -
Just what we need heading into the conference schedule.

A buddy of mine has already said if Jones gets another contract, he is finished going to games. I am guessing a lot of people feel that way and it is something Faison should seriously consider before he gives this guy another contract.

Want to hire the MSU-Moorhead coach before someone snatches him up? Fire off a (polite) email to this guy. brian.faison@athletics.und.edu Time to get serious about MBB around here.
-
Well, he's still in Moorhead, but probably not for much longer. Here is the man who can make it happen: brian.faison@athletics.und.edu
