  1. NCAA always loos at the money. It is kind of unfortunate that Notre Dame is out of the playoff picture. The two host schools (one playing at their hiome arena and the other 70 miles away) would both be sold out and the other two would be half full. If the NCAA cares about money like I think they do, they will switch back to host schools.
  2. Do we reaaly want our mascot to be an old wooden ship?!!
  3. The last time UND men's basketball won a regular season conference title was 1995. Yep, that is 20 years ago. Glas did take a couple teams to the playoffs in the early 200's with Beasley and company. But men's basketball really has not been relevant since the early 90's. So comparing Jones 9 years to the previous 9 years are more than likely going to give you similar numbers. Not looking at the numbers, but I would probably saw Glas had a better record. Of course that is kind of irrelevant based on the competition both teams played.
  4. He has had more than his fair share of coaching mistakes. These decision are costing the team wins, and in the end, could cost him his job!
  5. You absolutely have to foul them there so they don't even get an attempt to tie it. Horrible, awful, inexcusable coaching on that play.
  6. Wow, just saw the latest Bracketology on uscho.com East Regional (Providence): 15 Quinnipiac vs. 3 Boston University 10 Providence vs. 6 Bowling Green Northeast Regional (Manchester): 13 Massachusetts-Lowell vs. 4 Omaha 11 Harvard vs. 5 Minnesota-Duluth Midwest Regional (South Bend): 16 Robert Morris vs. 1 Minnesota State 12 Boston College vs. 8 Miami West Regional (Fargo): 14 Michigan vs. 2 North Dakota 9 Denver vs. 7 Michigan Tech I'd say if things stay like that, we deffinitely got one of the unluckiest draws in recent NCAA plaoff history!! #2 getting the B1G Champs in the first round!! I deffinitely do not like that draw at all!!
  7. I guess I wouldn't be surprised eather way. The kid deffinitely has some talent. Gonna be exciting seeing him develop and our run game start to dominate the Big Sky!
  8. If Grady proves to be as good as advertised in Fall Camp, Bubba's got to pull his redshirt, doesn't he? Kid has way to much talent and we need O lineman that can establish our run game.
  9. Return of the Hoggies!!
  10. Go with a hybrid of both.....Aerows!
  11. And Brock Jensen only had 1 offer from NDSU and he wasn't even their number 1 QB in that recruiting class. I'd say that worked out well for NDSU. NDSU has had the same type of philosopy to some extent in the past. I hope you can "figure out" how to get out of that box I just put you in!! Hiyo!!
  12. Didn't you hear? The majority of kids signing at NDSU all had FBS offers from big time programs. But they decided to go play FCS because playing at schools like Oregon and Wisconsin were just no as appealing!!
  13. Oh what could have been. (Sorry Seahawk fans!!) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=My6v8Oe2TkY
  14. Tom's a Ford guy anyway!!
  15. So basically they are using their warning every game when the score a goal. In the odd chance that a UNO fan throws their beer cup on the ice for a bad call, I would assume it would result in a penalty. I wonder if that has ever happened there before. Seems dumb to use up your warning in case a dumb fan overacts later.
  16. Get a wristband a go get a beer at the intermissions!!
  17. Wondering how UNO can get away with this every game. I assume that the refs give UNO an automatic warning for delay of game when fans throw items on the ice. Or maybe its not a delay since they have that handy little mini zamboni to clean up the carcas! If they do in fact get a warning, wouldn't the next item thrown on the ice be a delay of game penalty and result in a PP for the opposing team? I know that teams have notified officials when they are doing charitable stuff like the teddy bear toss. But does Blais have to go to the officials every nigh and explain that a fan in going to be throwing a big dead fish on the ice? I am all about traditions and doing thigs at games that are unique to each school, but this one is pretty dumb and could affect the outcome of a game possibly!
  18. So I noticed that you conveniently failed to mention the latest release of information that siouxkid12 brought up that 1 of the deflated balls was measured at 2 PSI below standards and the other 10 were a fraction of a pound. Obviously there are conflicting reports of exactly what the PSI measurement on the balls were. We will soon find out. But if the balls were only .05 PSI less that the standard, please tell me how that gives a team an advantage?!
  19. Last time I checked, UND campus was not located in North Korea. So I am pretty sure you will be ok wearing your Sioux clothing on campus.
  20. Oudoor Bonspiel at the Gate, that's where I will be tonight. I am sure they will have the game on there!!
  21. Maybe seeking the council of a of a grammar expert might do you some good If schools like Stanford, St. Johns, Marquette, etc have not made an attempt to change back even before it wasn't an NCAA policy, why would you ever think that UND would now that there is a policy against natice american nicknames. Wait.. were you the one I saw the other day wearing a maroon "Redskins Forever" shirt?!!
  22. Ok you are right. Statistically there is never a zero percent chance of anything to happen. Ok, let me fix my prediction......there is a .00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 percent chance that UND will be the Fighting Sioux again. There, that better?
  23. Dude, you been living under a rock the lst 10 years? YOu need to meet a good friend of mine. His name is Reality!! The name ain't coming back. Time to move on. The only way that there is even a chance for UND to be known as the Fighting Sioux ever again is if the NCAA changes its policy on native american names for college nicknames. There is deffiitely a ZERO percent chance that will happen. So that is why us here in the real worl realize that the name is not coming back.
  24. B1G winner will most likely get sent to South Bend. For attendance reasons. Unless somehow Michigan and Minnesota both make it, then they might send the Goofs to Fargo.
  25. Some conference tournaments for other conferences have the winner of the regular season title host the following year. Sure there is a possibility that the host school may not make it the following year, but at least it is at a host schools site and there would be a year to figure things out logistically. Might be an option I guess.
