B1G changed their policy and no longer plays FCS schools. I would leave any non-hockey negations out of it. Sure, UND is an a strong bargaining position. But it's not like the B1G is calling Faison every day seeing if he will consider joining he conference.

If UND can get a piece of the B1G Network pie, then it may be worth looking into. If they get the Notre Dame deal ($0) then no way its worth it.

Just saw this online. the Secretary General of the German Hockey Federation just sent this email to Faison. One line that stood out to me was UND womens hockey is "considered one of the the strongest , not only in the NCAA, but in the WORLD." And of course......Olympians.

The answer is nobody. I guess someone can prove me wrong, but I don't think there is any college football stadium in the country that has a hotel, 3+ restaurants/bars, and a waterpark all attached?!!

With all the Title IX talk, You would think that someone would maybe look into how NDSU is doing with their compliance!

Why would they do that? The NCAA has no beef with NHL franchises with NA imagery or nicknames.

It wasn't directed at you. Just giving my opinion on a new football stadium happening at UND. Agreed. Nothing will happen in the new future. Unless we get a big donor, I don't see it happening ever in my opinion. When you have a stadium that has worked now for 15+ years and is only just as old, there is not really a lot of urgency to move out and build a new one.

A new on campus stadium was a long shot 3 years ago before all of these budget issues. If you think that building a 100+ million dollar stadium is a priority for UND right now, you are insane!!
