I just got home from my beer league game and watched the recording of the NCAA Men’s selection show and whenever they talked about the Fargo regional, it just hit me how disappointing it is that UND isn’t there. What a wasted opportunity.

Did Mankato get hosed? They finished higher than UMass and yet get to “host” in Providence with a match up against the Friars.

I knew I made the right choice rooting for Duluth last night when, in the late stages of the first overtime, a St. Cloud fan was in such a hurry to get back to the game, he runs by me in the concourse, gets to the stairs leading down to the seats, and cuts in front of another guy who was waiting for a stoppage in play. The guy rightfully said something and this St. Cloud guy started giving him attitude. I thought a fight might break out. Nonetheless, I hope that St. Cloud guy got an unobstructed bird eye view of the game winning goal in the second overtime!

Tonight’s announced attendance for the Duluth/DU game was 9,000. Okay, sure.....

If management can talk Cinderella, Warrant, Quiet Riot, and Ratt into playing a gig at the Hoggsbreath that Saturday morning, would that sweeten the deal for those riding the fence about attending?
