That was really bad. Up there was the kid at Mercyhurst who tossed the lady’s wheelchair down the stairs at a bar. Dishonorable mention.
-
Could/Would PSU or one of their rich donors pay off the victim to just quietly make this all go away and not press charges or is the genie already out of the bottle?
-
Also, it wasn’t “their” arena, it was a regional game in Loveland Colorado, not Duluth Minnesota.
-
Simply attending a regional and having a beer out in the concourse. And he was standing next to me. I don’t find it odd behavior and certainly no rule a fan can’t wear their teams jerseys and stuff.
-
If the College Hockey News app is to be believed, BU stayed put at 24 as did Northeastern at 27.
-
Your enemy's enemy is your friend.

I could only listen to the Northeastern radio broadcast and the commentators inferred NU wasn’t aggressive enough on that albeit short power play. Given BU’s youthful but skilled talent, if I‘m the Huskies coach, I’m telling my power play unit to be aggressive out there and try to end it in overtime.
-
So the game goes down as a tie for NPI purposes correct? Did either BU or NU have any movement whatsoever?
-
Agreed. What a crap way to decide these Beanpot games as we’ve seen some amazing overtime games over the years.
-
2-2 now.

Out in the concourse, I had struck up what seemed like a friendly conversation with a Duluth fan at intermission of the Denver/Duluth regional final in Loveland 3-4 years ago….until he went on and on about how he hates Wisconsin and the Gophers but he hates North Dakota and their fans even more (I was wearing a North Dakota hoodie). I turned as he was in mid-sentence and walked away. No self-awareness by this D bag. Out of petty spite, I enjoyed seeing Denver win that game. It’s a good thing I’m no longer bitter about it! 🤣

I’ll do my best to cheer CC on to victory over Denver but full disclosure, my track record as a Tiger season ticket holder isn’t very good.
-
And of course the classic post game interview I’ve spoken about recently where Frank Serratore got tossed from a game up at Magness for sarcastically clapping after about the fifth consecutive power play being awarded to Denver. Oh yah, and the series in 2012 at Magness between Cornell and Denver where an irate Mike Schafer went on a post game rant about how atrocious the WCHA officials were in tilting the scales in Denver’s favor with how they officiated the games. (One could argue however, that teams from the west suffer the same fate when having ECAC officials as well).
-
Seems Sandy wasted an opportunity to challenge.
-
Remember the BS 5 minute major and game the refs called on Cole Smith at Magness? Complete garbage. I also remember a bad CC team and Alex Leclerc nursing a one goal lead late in a game at Magness and the refs staring right at a big time slew foot in the CC zone that didn’t get called on DU leading to the tying goal.
-
As if no other college coaches say similar things to their players.
-
Just said the exact same thing to my wife. In basketball that would be called.
-
St. Cloud announcer just said that it’s the first Miami sweep over the Huskies in St. Cloud since 1999.
-
Mayotte commented how tired ASU looked in the third last night. I hope and expect CC to continue doing what they started in the third last night and have that carry over to this rest of the game.
-
I heard someone say last night that Miami hadn’t beaten St. Cloud in St. Cloud since 2018. Anyone know the last time, if ever, the Redhawks have swept the Huskies?
-
CC absolutely wearing ASU down. Shots were something like, 20-6 that first period. You could see this starting last night at the beginning of the third period. Puck was in Sun Devils’ end almost the entire period.
-
And what the heck is going on in Madison? Talk about a sinking ship.
-
If UND wants to win the Penrose, they’re going to have to earn it themselves. Certainly not getting any help from UNO.
-
I dunno I think Mbereko’s hurt. He left the Saturday night game against UND late in the third presumably with an injury and just has seemed off since. I’ve been critical of Mayotte for seemingly burning Mbereko out by this point every season. Unger should’ve been given some starts in the first half to gain some experience but also to keep Mbereko fresh.
