I'm going to try Sluggers and/or Lucky 7 in Kirkland. The annual alumni games have been held at Lucky 7 in the past (although not for a couple years) but have been at Sluggers recently. Lucky 7 might be the best bet since one of their managers is from North Dakota and is happy to find a Sioux game if asked. Unfortunately I won't be able to watch the Thursday game - something about that family thing. Don't know if either of them will be open on Thanksgiving.

While I think this year's team will be better than last year's team, I'm still not so sure they will be a lot better. Friday they gave up two 2 goal leads and a lead in the third period to settle for a tie. Last night they must have sent the first line back home because they sure weren't visible on the ice. And it looks like they played against the best goalie in the universe (again). 35 SOG and one goal. Deja vu all over again.

Berry said he thought he got the wind knocked out of him. Hopefully that's all it was.

UND won both the SOG and faceoffs last year and it didn't get them much. Losing the faceoff battle as badly as they did this weekend will result in a lot of losses if it continues this season.
