I have watched a lot of Sioux-Gofer games and this one has to be the least inspired, poorest played, most intimidated Gofer team I remember ever seeing.

As much as the announcers liked to give Niagara a chance at winning this game, they never had a chance. The first period their strategy was "let's get the puck out of our end." The second period was "let's shoot the puck from the blue line or way out on the perimeter." The third period was pretty much "we're screwed".

I don't know the answer to your first question. As far as the second question, IMO it is good for the game, although it seems to get called too tight at times.

Kudos to Blackheart. It has been a lot of fun to watch the old games. One thing I have noticed - as I'm sure everyone else has - if they called those games like they call today's games, there would be about 857 penalties per game.
