  1. Wow. An owner threatening to move the team unless the city spends a ****load of money on renovations. Probably the first time that has ever happened.
  2. This is pretty much standard operating procedure in Seattle. http://mynorthwest.com/1212670/rantz-keyarena-renovation-trouble-nhl/
  3. True. There were a lot of cross checks - a lot weren't called.
  4. Yon plays like he doesn't even think about scoring, or anything other than just knocking the puck towards the other team's end. Johnson is just not very good.
  5. They have played a few games that they certainly deserved to lose (and did) but not tonight. I guess it evens out - probably deserved to lose last night. I'm mostly concerned about the lack of discipline. A few games ago when Bast and Mismash took dumb penalties on the same play and resulted in a 5 on 3 - and a goal of course. Kawaguchi's spear. Kierstad's spear. Gardner's three penalties this weekend. Those are the types of plays that will keep the team out of the playoffs.
  6. I think there are four kids on Central's team that live in the Central district. If not for the transfer policy this conversation would be about RR going for another undefeated season. The question is why are so many kids going to Central rather than RR when they live in the RR district?
  7. Holy crap. There are four guys left and the team scores nine goals on the weekend and we don't have a winner? I call foul!
  8. That DU PBP guy is a "tad" over the top. I realize he is a Denver radio guy but when you out-homer Ciskie, that's pretty bad.
  9. No upside to this weekend. Two wins do nothing for Pairwise - one or two losses - yikes.
  10. Four goals scored and three guys advance? Sheesh,
  11. So a few years ago our top line was CBS, now it's..........? BIG drop off in talent.
  12. If I pick no one to score and they get shut out, do I win?
  13. What happened to dropping the puck to a trailing defenseman? Did that work too well?
  14. Hardly. His injury was what prevented him from a great year.
