I don't understand how a team can play so poor one night and then do a complete 180 the next night. But a split in Denver is not bad. Now, about those penalties.......

There were three things that I really didn't like about tonight's game: 1) the score 2) that obnoxious announcer! 3) porn stashe boy scored (and it was his first of the year).

It looked like WMU started playing defense late in the second with a one goal lead but made it work. Puts UND in a great position - one point back with three games in hand.

I never doubted that Smith would play in the NHL. Big body with a great work ethic.

I just watched the third period of Miami-WMU. It was lousy hockey. I don't see how Miami beat them last week. Miami had a 5 minute major and had 2 SOG - WMU had 5 SOG. It wasn't pretty.

Slovakia's second goal was on Sanderson. Could have cleared the zone but put it right on the defenseman's stick.

College Hockey News has his GAA at 2.96 and save % at .893. That's a little better than I expected to see. I have seen him play a few games and he has not looked sharp.
