If St. Cloud goes into the tournament as the number 1 overall seed (which it looks like they will) and UND is a number 4 seed (which looks very likely), St. Cloud will get sent to a different region.

I thought the idea of the NCHC was to get a league of "like minded" schools. Doesn't that include a decent ability to televise games? This is absolutely the worst I've ever seen!

Here's a telling stat for this year's team, which probably is no surprise to anyone. The top three scorers by ppg are Wolanin .8333/g (T87), Gersich .7333/g (T134) and Mismash .6429/g (T229). The numbers are before last weekend. There were a couple of teams that the top three were close to these numbers - '14-'15 Cags .8571 (T46), Parks .7619 (T69) and J. Schmaltz .6667 (T106) and '13-'14 Rocco .9286 (T35), Parks .7143 (T106) and MacMillan .6842 (T154). I went back to the '05-'06 season. There were 4 teams where the top three were all over 1 ppg - '15-'16 (CBS), '10-'11 (Frattin, Knight and Gregoire), '06-'07 (DOT), and '05-'06 (Stafford, Zajac and Oshie).

I have a buddy that is a Northeastern fan. He and all the Northeastern fans were certain that they would beat UND in 2016. Didn't quite work out how they thought it would.

I'm predicting a 5-1 game, but I have no idea who gets the 5.

Watched RR-DL last night. Kunz looks like he could turn out to be a very good player. Big kid especially for a freshman and pretty fast. Hope he continues to develop.

Lots of optimism about a team. Standard lunacy in Seattle. The new mayor shares in that lunacy - she said there is no reason why Seattle can't have two arenas. Except for the city council voting against allowing the closure of one block required to build the new arena. And the Port of Seattle trying to block it. And the backers only wanting basketball.

The Seattle city council missed this part with the arena choice.

Two points: 1) the effort tonight was beyond awful. 2) When your top line is 22-19-14, you are not going to get very far this season.

A six month investigation? Guy should be fired - oh, wait he's a professor. Our university system is messed up.
