I agree, just because a kid gives a verbal doesn't mean they can sit back and enjoy the rest of their time until coming to UND. They still have to put in the time and effort to develop as a hockey player. If the coaching staff doesn't feel they are developing the way they would like to see them develop, then its their choice to let the kid go.

I definitely liked watching the amateur players play for the gold. I don't mind watching the NHL players play, but I can see them 6-7 months out of a year, where as amateaur players never get that kind of stage to play on like that.

What usually happens in these type of circumstances is the kid takes incompletes in his classes and returns in the summer to finish them up. That is what I know a couple of former players have done.

A couple NJ forwards came down with injuries in that Boston game, so who knows, sunday might be the right time for Burns to play Zach.

There was definitely something funny about this whole thing from the beginning. It is sad that all of this coverage was paid to this situation when there are children who go missing everyday that barely even get a mention in the media.

I guess a couple of the NHL scouts who recently seen Greene play and commented how they thought he could be in an NHL lineup today really doesn't mean much, because I guess you haven't heard that.

It really gets tiresome listening/reading Sid and his constant reminders to the listeners/readers about how he is friends with Bobby Knight, how he has lunch with Steinbrenner, how the Minneapolis Lakers were the best team ever to come out of Minneapolis.
